China has just announced a New Year holiday calendar. Starting in January , public holidays will be extended by two days as per（根据） revised measures on holiday arrangements unveiled（公布） by the State Council on Nov. 12.
中国刚刚公布了新一年度的假期安排。根据国务院11月12日公布的修订后的假期安排办法，从1月起公共假期将延长两天。
The Spring Festival holiday will be extended from the previous three days to four days, including the Chinese Lunar New Year’s eve on Jan 28, while the May Day holiday will be increased from one day to two days, with May 2 newly added, according to the measures.
根据该措施，春节假期将从之前的三天延长到四天，其中包括新增了1月28日的除夕，而五一假期新增了5月2日，从一天增加至两天。

Republican Donald Trump claimed victory on Nov. 6 in a tightly contested race against Vice-President Kamala Harris, a Democrat, to become the 47th president of the United States.

US media reported that Trump had secured more than the 270 Electoral College votes needed to clinch the presidency.

选举人团制度是美国总统选举的一种间接选举制度，其核心在于各州通过选举人票决定总统人选。各州的选举人票数等于其在国会的代表总数，即参议员和众议员人数之和。美国50个州和华盛顿特区的选举人总数为538人，组成选举人团（Electoral College），其中50个州的选举人票数基于其国会代表人数，华盛顿哥伦比亚特区有3个选举人名额。
绝大多数州和华盛顿特区实行“胜者全得”规则，即将所有选举人票给予在该州赢得多数选票的总统候选人。因此大选结果通常在大选投票日当天便可根据各州选举结果算出。赢得270张或以上选举人票的总统候选人即获得选举胜利。
