This year's Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine has been awarded to the United States scientists Victor Ambros and Gary Ruvkun on Oct.7.
10月7日，美国科学家维克多·安布罗斯和加里·鲁夫昆被授予了今年的诺贝尔生理学或医学奖。
The panel（专家组） of judges selected the winners in acknowledgment of their discovery of microRNA and its role in post-transcriptional（转录后的：指在基因转录过程之后发生的生物学过程） gene regulation.
诺贝尔大会评审小组选出了获奖者，以表彰他们发现了微小核糖核酸及其在转录后基因调控中的作用。
"Their groundbreaking（开创性的） discovery revealed a completely new principle of gene regulation that turned out to be essential for multicellular（多细胞的） organisms（生物体）, including humans," the assembly（代表大会） said in a statement.
大会声明表示:“他们的突破性发现揭示了一种全新的基因调控原理，这种原理对包括人类在内的多细胞生物至关重要。”

The outpatient（门诊） service of "spatial（空间的） and mathematics learning difficulty" at the Shanghai Children's Medical Center officially opened on Oct.8, which primarily serves students who experience learning difficulties in mathematics, physics and chemistry, as well as those with spatial perception issues, visual-spatial disorders or calculation difficulties.
10月8日，上海儿童医学中心的“空间和数学学习困难”门诊正式开放，主要面向数学、物理和化学学习困难的学生，以及有空间感知问题、视觉空间障碍或计算困难的学生。
The experts spend about 20 to 30 minutes on each consultation. They engage with both parents and the child, discussing the child's academic performance and personal challenges. After the initial consultation, they recommend further assessments（评估） based on the information gathered, which may include psychological evaluations（评估）, intelligence tests, attention assessments and comparisons related to mathematics or spatial skills, which take about one to two hours.
专家每次看诊的时间约为20至30分钟。他们与家长和孩子交流，讨论孩子的学习成绩和遇到的问题。在初步咨询之后，他们根据收集到的信息进行进一步评估，其中包括心理评估、智力测试、注意力评估以及与数学或空间技能有关的比较，这些评估大约需要一到两个小时。
