放假早的同学可能已经舒舒服服地在家躺着了，但是还有好多放假晚的打工人，还在为抢不到票发愁呢！
那么今天，咱就来聊聊“候补”用英语怎么说。

“抢票”英文怎么说？
1、抢票：Snap up tickets
snap up：把……赶快买到手，抢购
ticket：车票，票
Example：Fans were waiting in front of their computers to snap up tickets for the singer's concert as soon as they were released.
Translation：粉丝们守在电脑前，门票一发售就立刻抢购这位歌手演唱会的门票。
2、抢票：Ticket - grabbing
ticket：票
grabbing：抓住，抓紧
这个词组更侧重于借助外力抢票，比如用抢票软件。
Example：Many people rely on ticket - grabbing apps during the Spring Festival travel rush.
Translation：很多人在春运期间依靠抢票软件抢票。

“候补”的英文怎么说？
实在抢不到票还能候补。
不过注意啦，可千万别把“候补”说成“candidate”，它的意思是候选人。不然外国人听了还以为抢票得先参加竞选呢。
候补购票服务可以翻译为：waitlist function
Example：The airline's booking system has a waitlist function. When seats are fully booked, passengers can join the waitlist.
Translation：航空公司预订系统设有候补名单功能。当座位订满时，乘客可加入候补名单。

除了抢票和候补，购票过程中还有退票、改签、延误这些情况。
1、退票：
refund the ticket
get a refund for a ticket
Example：I need to refund the ticket because my flight has been rescheduled.
Translation：我需要退票，因为我的航班被改签了。用refund the ticket造5个句子
Example：I managed to get a refund for a ticket due to the sudden cancellation of the concert.
Translation：由于音乐会突然取消，我成功拿到了退票退款。
2、改签
change a/the ticket
reschedule a/the ticket
Example：I need to change a ticket to an earlier flight because my schedule has been brought forward.
Translation：我需要改签一张机票到更早的航班，因为我的日程提前了。
Example：I managed to get a refund for a ticket due to the sudden cancellation of the concert.

3、晚点
behind schedule
Example：The project is behind schedule due to the shortage of materials.
Translation：由于材料短缺，这个项目进度滞后了。

Example：The train arrived at the station on schedule.
