As the year draws to a close, the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China hosted its annual Shanghai Celebration Dinner, highlighting the achievements between European companies, the EU, and Chinese stakeholders, while exploring future collaborations for 2025. For the second year, the German School Shanghai Hongqiao (DSSH) Orchestra, led by music teachers Mrs. and Mr. Abert, performed, with 40 students from grades 3 to 12 impressing the audience with pieces like "Ode to Joy," "Libertango," and "Try Everything." The event gathered over 260 attendees, including 80 Chinese officials, to strengthen EU-China business relations.
Dulwich Puxi Students Drive Community Impact Through Hands-On Service Projects in Yunnan and Guizhou
At Dulwich Puxi, service is integral to their education. Year 7 students recently partnered with Elevated Honey Co., visiting bee hives in Yunnan to learn from beekeepers whose honey production supports their community. At the same time, Year 10 and 12 students fundraised for local communities and taught kindergarteners in Guizhou, bringing education to rural areas. These hands-on experiences empower students to become compassionate leaders and global citizens, driving positive change.
