The Montreux Jazz Festival 2024 returns to Suzhou this weekend with a diverse lineup, including China's "Disco Queen" pop singer-songwriter Rose Zhang, Swiss techno band Stevans, Danish bassist Ida Nielsen—ranked among the top ten bassists in the world—and the iconic Earth, Wind & Fire Experience by Al McKay, with six Grammy Awards and seventeen nominations to its name.

The festival lineup features 21 bands, including 14 international acts, 9 of which are making their China debut. Over 120 musicians from 11 countries and regions—including Austria, the United States, Belgium, Denmark, Indonesia, Switzerland, Norway, Japan, France, Cuba, and Taiwan—will perform a wide range of genres.
Attendees can expect an eclectic mix that blends Chinese folk with Western styles like pop, rock, funk, jazz, electronic jazz, experimental music, R&B, techno, soul, and classical fusion jazz.

Single-day tickets (706 -1066 rmb) or three-day passes (2470 rmb) give access to two stages: the Dadao Theatre and the Lakeside Stage, where performances will be held across the weekend.
