Shanghai Greenhouse

If you can snag tickets (WeChat 上海世博文化公园), the Shanghai Greenhouse in the Shanghai Expo Culture Park is a great family activity. Pair it with a day at the beautiful park. More on the Greenhouse on SmartShanghai.

L*SNOW Indoor Skiing

Shanghai's latest "world's largest" indoor ski resort is in Lingang, about an hour and a half from downtown. There's a water park and a ski-themed hotel as well. Find tickets on WeChat (耀雪冰雪世界). More on that on SmartShanghai here.

Le Bal de Paris

Jinmao Tower Sky Walk

On Top of the Pyramid: The Civilization of Ancient Egypt

Contemporary African Photography Show: Marvellous Realism

The Orbit Festival at System

This seven-day festival from September 30 to October 6 brings over 70 musicians, including 17 international guest artists, covering a range of genres. Read more about it here.

Live Music: Infected Rain (Moldova), Astray Valley (ESP), Bloodhunter (ESP)

Offbeat: The Deqiu Art District

Hidden in Minhang's old industrial zone, Deqiu Art District features quirky outdoor installations, from a goose parade float to a whimsical airplane sculpture. More here. More on that here.
