专题征稿：通用人工智能大模型及其在体系工程优化中的应用 | Engineering

The advent of the universal artificial intelligence model, exemplified by ChatGPT, has witnessed the ascendance of large models as a novel engine propelling social productive forces and production efficiency. With industry applications as the focal point, the large model progressed from the development of new products to the creation of robust applications, which accelerated the rate at which large models were adopted across hundreds of industries and thousands of households. With the advancement and implementation of large domestic models, the trajectory of technology, which is more significant than its application, and the development of its associated ecosystems has become evident. This topic is currently a significant challenge in the field of artificial intelligence and will be closely monitored by universities and research institutes at home and abroad.

The objective of this special issue is to present the latest advances and developments of new methods, techniques, systems, and tools dedicated to the application of ChatGPT.

Topics of Interest

This special issue will publish original research papers, reviews, perspectives and views and comments including but not limited to the following topics:

• The innovative fusion mode of the ChatGPT and the traditional method

• Industrial application scenarios and cases based on the ChatGPT integration and optimization

• Automation tools and platforms for the ChatGPT

• Cross-disciplinary cooperation and practical application for the ChatGPT

• Evaluation methods for the capacity, potential and limitations of the ChatGPT

• Optimized technology for the training, fine-tuning and reasoning of the ChatGPT

• The application of the ChatGPT in natural language understanding, content generation, and knowledge discovery, economic finance, industrial production, agricultural production, education and training, medical care and other fields

Only original manuscripts can be submitted, according to the “Guide for Authors” published on the Engineering website at https://www.journals.elsevier.com/engineering. The authors are invited to follow the link “Submit your Paper”, located in the main page of the Journal website, and submit manuscript to Article Type “SI: Applications of ChatGPT” in Engineering.

Paper Length Limitations

• Research Article: up to ~6000 words;

• Review: 10000 words;

• Perspectives: up to ~3000 words;

• Views & Comments: up to ~2000 words, with less than five figures or tables and less than 15 references.
