How to layer:

To understand layering your clothing for outdoor activities, you need to know the function of each layer:

Base layer (underwear layer): wicks sweat off your skin

Middle layer (insulating layer): retains body heat to protect you from the cold

Outer layer (shell layer): shields you from wind and rain

Even if you don’t wear all three layers at the outset, it’s a good idea to take all layers on every outing: You can peel off layers if things heat up, but you can’t put on layers that you didn’t bring along.

Disclaimer:

Our company, based on relevant laws and regulations such as the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China and the Tourism Law of the People's Republic of China, and combined with the "assumed risk" principle in Article 1176, Paragraph 1 of the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China and actual outdoor travel experience, has prepared this "Travel Risk Disclaimer" to inform participants of the risks that need to be guarded against during the trip, their own obligations to guard against and prepare for such risks, and other relevant provisions.

I. Confirmation of Service Terms

If you want to participate in the activities organized by Lion Adventure Group, please make sure to read this "Outdoor Travel Risk Disclaimer" (hereinafter referred to as "Disclaimer") and indicate your acceptance of this Disclaimer during the registration process. Once you confirm your registration or make a successful payment, it means that you voluntarily accept all the terms of this Disclaimer.

II. Precautions

1. Scope of Activities

Participants can participate in activities organized by our company within the specified period, including but not limited to outdoor travel, leisure hiking, hiking, mountaineering, snow mountain climbing, mountain crossing, forest camping, fixed route cave experience, wilderness survival, orienteering, team building activities, fun activities on-site; cycling, mountain biking, self-driving travel, swimming, stream tracing, boating, kayaking, drifting, artificial/natural rock climbing and rappelling, ice climbing, waterfall descent, skiing, horseback riding. If participants engage in other non-club organized activities against the arrangements of the organizers (or guides, etc.), they shall bear all risks and liabilities arising therefrom on their own and have no relation with the organizers.

2. Physical Condition

Participants should ensure their personal physical health when participating in activities. The following people with certain physical conditions are not suitable to participate in our activities, including but not limited to (1) patients with infectious diseases such as infectious hepatitis, active pulmonary tuberculosis, typhoid fever, etc.; (2) patients with cardiovascular diseases such as severe hypertension, heart failure, myocardial ischemia, myocardial infarction, etc.; (3) patients with cerebrovascular diseases such as cerebral embolism, cerebral hemorrhage, brain tumor, etc.; (4) patients with respiratory system diseases such as emphysema, cardio-pulmonary diseases, etc.; (5) patients with mental illnesses such as epilepsy and various mental illnesses; (6) patients with severe anemia; (7) patients recovering from major surgeries; (8) pregnant women and people with mobility difficulties; (9) other physical conditions that cannot meet the requirements of this trip. The organizers do not recommend participation in activities under the above circumstances. If participants insist on participating, they must obtain written consent from a doctor in advance, prepare necessary medication, and obtain written consent from parents, children or other direct relatives and be accompanied by a dedicated person. They also need to sign a corresponding commitment letter with our company to indicate that the participants do not have any physical conditions that are unsuitable for participating in the activities during the specified period, or, if there are corresponding conditions, they can ensure that they will not suffer any physical or property losses during the activities due to such conditions. If accidents occur due to their own reasons, they will bear the responsibility on their own. Furthermore, considering factors such as operating costs and individual situations, the organizers are not responsible for verifying the participants' physical conditions before the start of the activity and do not charge any fees related to this. The participants shall bear this responsibility as well as the related risks. If participants conceal their physical conditions unsuitable for participating in relevant activities or do not handle their physical conditions in a reasonable manner (such as taking medication on time), and suffer physical or property losses during the trip due to their physical reasons, they shall bear the corresponding consequences on their own.

The organizers and guides are not doctors or emergency medical personnel with professional medical licenses, and they often do not have the medical skills of professional emergency or medical personnel. Participants need to pay attention to their own safety, prepare commonly used medicines and first aid supplies according to their own circumstances, and promptly inform the guides or other relevant personnel in case of sudden discomfort during outdoor travel, so as to arrange medical treatment in a timely manner.

3. Various Risks Participants May Face in Outdoor Activities

As individuals with full civil capacity (our company's outdoor activities do not allow minors to participate alone), participants should be aware of the various risks that may exist in outdoor activities and fulfill their reasonable obligations to exercise care and precaution. These risks include but are not limited to falling, drowning, falling rocks, avalanches, lightning, crossing rivers, hypothermia, frostbite, frostbite, bites, stabs, dog bites, animal attacks, and other natural risks, which may result in injuries, fractures, disabilities or even endanger life.

In addition, outdoor activities impose harsh requirements on physical and mental aspects, including activities in rugged areas and adverse weather conditions, often far from rescue and medical services. It usually takes a long time to wait for rescue. Therefore, the delay in seeking medical treatment may lead to more severe consequences or even life-threatening situations. If the team guides and other company staff fulfill their reasonable duty of care and assistance obligations, take the correct rescue measures but still cannot prevent the loss of physical or property interests, the participants shall bear the relevant adverse consequences on their own.

4. Other Risk Disclosure

First of all, outdoor activities inherently involve exploration and unpredictability, which is part of the charm of outdoor travel. Participants should understand that organizers and guides cannot fully anticipate every possible risk that may occur during outdoor activities. Participants should also accept the fact that there may be unforeseeable risks during outdoor activities and assume these risks. In addition, participants should be aware that physical activity and the use of equipment have potential hazards. They should also understand that outdoor fitness and leisure activities themselves also involve risks that may result in injury or even death, and they voluntarily participate in these activities and use equipment.

Secondly, during self-organized activities, participants should choose activities within their own risk control range and report to relevant personnel in a timely manner. They should proactively inquire about the risks associated with the activities and follow the safety warning rules during the trip, taking responsibility for their own safety.

Thirdly, participants are encouraged to reduce risks by paying more attention to the environment, their physical and mental state, the suitability of clothing and equipment for safety, and only participating in activities that correspond to their own abilities. They are also encouraged to adopt a skeptical attitude and to ask the organizers and guides to explain any decisions that they feel are inappropriate. If a participant believes that continuing the activity during the outdoor trip is unsafe, the participant should immediately stop the activity, explain the situation to the relevant personnel, and complete the necessary formalities.

Finally, when a companion needs assistance, participants can assist within their own capabilities without putting themselves in unreasonable danger. Participants have no legal obligation to assist others when they are beyond their capabilities or when it may endanger themselves or others. Similarly, any companions or other members are not obligated to assist participants in situations beyond their capabilities. In addition, reasonable care must be taken during assistance to avoid causing further harm to the victim.

Ⅲ. Other Related Agreements for Travel

1. Participants must truthfully declare their personal information when registering for outdoor travel activities and carefully verify that the declared information is their own. It is strictly prohibited to participate in activities using false identities or impersonating others. If the identity information reported during registration is inconsistent with the participant's actual identity, resulting in any unfavorable consequences, such as being unable to pass customs checks, board a plane or other means of transportation, or being unable to claim insurance, the participant will be responsible for any resulting consequences. The company also reserves the right to cancel the participant's right to participate in the activity and refund the corresponding fee according to the company's refund policy if any fraudulent information is found by relevant personnel.

2. Participants in group travel are not allowed to leave the group without the written consent of the guide or activity personnel. If they wish to leave the group, they must obtain written agreement (agreement to leave the group) from the guide or activity personnel.

3. Participants agree that the event planners and other teammates can use related pictures of the participants for future promotion activities on the internet, magazines, or social media sharing.

4. To ensure the quality and safety of activities, the company does not accept private small car participation in the touring group, and the bus cannot be overloaded. After boarding, please fasten your seat belt.

5. Insurance: The company provides outdoor accident insurance for activity participants. The insurance coverage is from boarding to the end of the activity and disembarkation on the return trip (the insurance coverage for getting off in the middle of the return trip ends when the participant disembarks). The domestic long-term activity insurance is from the assembly day to the end of the activity. In addition to the complimentary insurance provided by the company, participants should purchase additional insurance on their own to prevent any accidental injuries.

6. Minors cannot register for outdoor travel activities alone. Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by guardians. For individuals under the age of 18 without full capacity for civil conduct, their safety during outdoor activities is the responsibility of the accompanying guardians. Any adverse consequences resulting from their actions or situations not caused by company personnel are the responsibility of the participant and the guardian. During the journey or free time, guardians are responsible for taking care of and protecting their children. Minors must not travel alone, and their safety must be taken into account.

7. Due to the large number of participants who register for outdoor activities through others, the company cannot directly fulfill the corresponding notification obligations to the actual participants in the outdoor activities. Therefore, individuals who register for others have the obligation to fully and timely inform the actual participants of all necessary information (including but not limited to the explanatory clauses of this Notice, special reminders and warnings for participants, and provisions in the contract regarding the exemption of liability for the company), and timely inform the company of relevant information about the actual participant (including but not limited to health information, information about unsuitable travel projects, etc.).

Ⅳ. Allocation of Corresponding Responsibilities and Solutions

1. If participants do not comply with the provisions of this notice, instructions from relevant staff, and legal regulations during the outdoor activities organized by the company, resulting in losses to their own physical or property interests, they should bear corresponding responsibilities on their own.

2. As outdoor activities inherently involve certain risks, participants should be aware of this before participating. Therefore, if natural disasters or accidents that cannot be prevented by reasonable attention and appropriate measures taken by the relevant staff occur during the activity, resulting in loss of physical or property interests, the participant should bear the responsibility on their own.

3. Participants should follow the instructions of the guide and other relevant staff during the outdoor activities, and should not engage in any behavior that violates laws and regulations. If personal behavior leads to the loss of property or physical interests of a third party during this activity, the participant should bear the responsibility, and the company is not involved.

4. If a participant suffers losses and risks that could have been avoided due to the illegal operation or inappropriate guidance of the guide or other relevant staff of the company, the participant can negotiate with the company for a solution. If the negotiation fails, the case can be taken to a court with jurisdiction.

5. There is no personal attachment between the guide and other organizers and participants in outdoor activities. If conflicts between participants due to human factors other than the responsibility of the relevant staff lead to losses of physical or property interests, the parties involved should negotiate a solution on their own, and the company is not involved.

In addition to the content stated in this "Notice", participants should also be aware of the related content conveyed by the organizers through various forms such as website announcements and guide's oral reminders. Therefore, participants should carefully read this notice and actively prepare for risk prevention and participation conditions according to the corresponding content stated. Any other content not explicitly stated in this notice shall be subject to the content conveyed by the company in other forms.

If participants are willing to participate in the outdoor activities organized by the company under the premise of agreeing to the content of this notice, once you confirm your registration or payment, it indicates that you voluntarily accept all the terms of this "Notice".

Why choose LionAdventure

The footsteps of youth always chase after the direction of the wind. LionAdventure focuses on creating a unique lifestyle that combines outdoor activities and travel experiences for young people from around the world, each with their own cultural background and life stories.

We integrate various outdoor sports elements into our travels, whether it's the adventure of trekking through forests, the freedom of cycling along country roads, or the tranquility of camping by the lakeside. Every step is accompanied by passion and vitality for outdoor sports, making each trip a healthy and unforgettable experience.
