On the evening of November 21st,Charlie Puth,also known as'Broken Eyebrow,'began the Asian leg of his tour at Haikou's Wuyuanhe Stadium.Nearly 30,000 fans joined in the musical feast, with 54% of them coming from outside the island.
Despite the slightly chilly weather in Haikou that day, the atmosphere at the concert was instantly ignited with the start of the opening music. When Charlie Puth appeared, the fans erupted into cheers and thunderous applause. Faced with such enthusiastic fans, Puth performed a series of his widely popular hits, with the audience singing along loudly and breaking into warm applause at intervals.
After the concert, many fans were still savoring the experience, humming their favorite tunes. A number of fans expressed that they would take the opportunity of the concert to explore Haikou.
Fujian Quanzhou fan Su Zhaoxin, a die-hard fan of 'Broken Eyebrow,' had previously attended his concerts in Hong Kong and Shanghai. He flew to Haikou early on the 20th, participated in the fan meeting in the afternoon, and then rushed to the concert in the evening. 'This is the only stadium-level concert by Broken Eyebrow in Asia, and I am particularly happy to catch this opportunity,' he said. Speaking to Hainan Daily journalists, he mentioned that it was his first time in Hainan and he was deeply impressed by Haikou's fan-friendly atmosphere. After the concert, he planned to travel around Hainan for a few days with local friends, to see the beautiful scenery and taste the local specialties.
Fan 'Lian Mei' from Zhangzhou,Fujian, told reporters that the most touching part of her trip, aside from the concert, was receiving a fan-exclusive gift package at the fan service desk, which included items such as a no-threshold voucher for CDF Haikou International Duty-Free Mall, shopping guide,travel manual, and support cards. 'Haikou is really too warm-hearted!'she exclaimed.
Reporters learned that to facilitate fans'travel,an additional train service(C7825)from Haikou to Sanya will be launched on November 21st,departing from Haikou Station(Haikou Railway Station)at 23:20,stopping at Haikou East Station,Meilan Station,and Lingshui Station,before arriving at Sanya Station.Additionally,to help everyone catch the train,a shuttle bus service from Wuyuanhe Stadium to Haikou Railway Station has also been opened.
