Business Development Manager
Responsibilities:
Promoting RINA name and service to the potential clients in Marine and Industry fields;
Identifying the new business opportunities, Pursuing and capturing the new contracts;
Negotiation of the contract terms and preparation of the documentation for the final closure;
Resolve the conflicts and complaints from the clients and Improve the relationship with the key accounts;
Internal coordination for some particular projects;
Visiting the owners, shipyards and makers on the regular basis;
Review of the targets and results with top management and other teams;
Review of the year result and Proposal of the strategy to improve the company and personal performance based on the target and gap analysis;
Review and collection of the late payment from the clients with the accounting team;
Negotiation of the penalty with the clients for the delay projects;
Forecasting of marketing trend and assistance of setting up the realistic budget for the coming year;
Participation of the annual committee and owner meeting, marine exhibition and boat show in China;
Attendance of training in order to improve the communication and technical skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in related major
- Strong relationship with local shipyards, ship-owners, marine bureau and shipping associations, etc
- Previous professional experiences in Classification Societies would be a strong plus; At least 10 years significant professional experience in similar or related businesses is requested., e.g. business manager, business development manager etc.
- Good knowledge of both written and spoken English
- Good Computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Excel and skills in database management and record keeping
- Good interpersonal skills and team player
- Kindly, honest and reliable personality
- Self-motivated and be able to work under pressure

Surveyor - Ship in Service
Location: Tianjin or Hebei
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out Annual and Renewal - Class and Statutory surveys for of vessels in service
- Carrying out ISM audits as Lead auditor on ships and in shore offices
- Carrying out ISPS audits and MLC Inspections as Lead auditor on ships
- Carrying testing activity and certification of marine products and service suppliers
- Prepare technically accurate and timely Survey reports
- Carrying out other technical jobs as assigned by the Office Manager
- Inspection and testing of materials and components for certification, according to Class requirements, International conventions and contractual requirements as well as statutory and special service requirements
Education and Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor’ / Master’s Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering
Previous professional experience in Classification Societies is a must
At least 6 years significant professional experience in similar or related businesses and ISM/ ISPS/MLC and renewal qualification is required
Personal skills and abilities:
Must posses a high level of commitment
Ability to work in a team with diverse staff
Ability to work under pressure and on tight schedules
Willing to travel frequently
Practical and theoretical knowledge of hull, machinery, materials, equipment and safety systems of ships
Fluent in English language, both written and spoken
IT literate in Windows OS and MS Office
