《Avian Research》是我国目前唯一一份公开出版的鸟类学学术期刊，主编为中国科学院动物研究所雷富民研究员。期刊主要发表鸟类学相关的原创性研究、综述、研究方法等论文。为进一步提升期刊的国际影响力，为青年科技工作者提供交流平台，同时也为编委会培养后备力量，经编委会讨论决定，拟招募青年编委会成员，现面向国内外公开招募青年编委。

招募条件
年龄原则上不超过45周岁，取得博士学位2年以上或具有副高及以上职称。
热心期刊工作，愿意为期刊发展投入时间和精力。
在鸟类学相关领域表现活跃，有能力组约优秀稿件。
有国际优秀期刊发表和审稿经历，熟悉期刊工作流程。

青年编委权利
以第一作者或通讯作者身份投稿或推荐的稿件录用后优先发表。
可在期刊新媒体平台宣传青年编委及其研究团队科研成果，提高个人学术影响力。
有权对期刊编辑出版各方面提出批评和建议。
贡献突出者有机会在换届时晋升为编委成员。

青年编委职责
聘期内以第一作者或通讯作者身份为期刊贡献高质量稿件至少1篇，积极参与专题策划，组约国内外高水平稿件。
承担部分稿件的初审、送审、录用建议等工作。
积极参与并及时高质量地完成期刊的审稿工作。
利用各类学术会议、报告及其他机会宣传期刊。
其他有利于提升期刊影响力的工作。

聘期及退出
聘期为2年，入选后颁发青年编委聘用证书。
若在聘期内完成相关职责工作，则自动续聘为下一届青年编委，贡献突出者可晋升为编委成员；聘期内不能胜任青年编委工作者，视为自动退出青年编委行列，主编和编委会保持解聘权利。

About the Journal
Started in 2014, Avian Research has been indexed by internationally renowned databases including SCIE, Scopus, and DOAJ. The Impact Factor has been increasing yearly, reaching 1.8 in 2022 and ranking the fourth among all the SCIE-indexed ornithology journals.
Avian Research aims to become an excellent platform for scholarly communication. The journal is committed to promoting the dissemination of the latest ideas and novel findings in the full range of topics in ornithology.

Recruitment of Youth Editorial Board Members
Currently, the editorial board of Avian Research is composed of nearly 50 renowned experts in ornithology. In order to provide a platform for active academic exchange for young scientists engaging in ornithological research, Avian Research is constructing an editorial board specifically for young editorial members. This board would be an excellent platform for young scientists to practice their editorial management skills, comment on peer work, exchange ideas, and find collaboration opportunities.

Younger than 45 years old, getting a PhD degree for over 2 years, or getting a vice-senior title.

《Avian Research》简介
《鸟类学研究（英文）》（Avian Research）创刊于2010年，原名《中国鸟类（英文版）》（Chinese Birds），2014年变更为现刊名。期刊由北京林业大学和中国动物学会共同主办，现主编为中国科学院动物研究所雷富民研究员。期刊主要发表鸟类学相关的原创性研究、综述、研究方法等论文。期刊采取国际前沿的学术出版理念和先进的出版模式，志在成为一份由中国主办的优秀国际期刊，为中外鸟类学研究人员搭建学术交流平台。
期刊在爱思唯尔ScienceDirect以及我国SciOpen等平台上以开放获取的模式出版，目前期刊的出版费用由北京林业大学承担，作者无需缴纳版面费。2016年被SCIE收录，同时也是Scopus, DOAJ, Zoological Record, CSCD等国内外重要检索系统或数据库的来源期刊。近年来，刊物的影响因子稳步提升，2022年为1.8，在29份鸟类学SCI期刊中排名第4，居于Q1区；在中科院期刊分区表中，居鸟类学小类2区，生物学大类2区。先后被评为2015—2017、2019—2021年“中国国际影响力优秀学术期刊”，2018、2020、2022年度“中国高校百佳科技期刊”等荣誉。2019年入选“中国科技期刊卓越行动计划”梯队期刊建设项目。
