歌词
(Music)
Woo, I want to hang out
Uh-huh, with my friends until...
...until 9.
Until 9?
Yeah, until 9!
Oh, that’s just fine, fine, fine.
You don’t have to tidy up your room,
You don’t have to help your dad,
And you don’t have to do your homework.
Oh, really, Mom? That’s not bad!
But you have to be home by 8,
And you really mustn’t be late,
And you mustn’t complain, dear James.
No tablet tonight, and no games.
I was kidding, Mom, and that’s true!
I have finished what I have to do.
Why don’t you go and check it out?
(Music)
Yeah, but please hurry up,
I’d like to go out!
We use “don’t have to” when we want to say
That something’s not necessary.
Your room is clean,
It’s not necessary to tidy it up.
You don’t have to tidy up your room.
We use “must” to say “Don’t do it.”
I’m telling you not to do it.
It’s dark outside, don’t be late!
You mustn’t be late!
