  1. Review the 26 letters (both uppercase and lowercase), and be able to say "It's letter..." in preparation for phonics lessons.
    复习26个字母(包括大写字母和小写字母),并能够用“It’s letter...”来为后续的自然拼读做准备。

2. Understand that words are made up of letters and be able to identify the first letter of a word. Students will be able to say:
"Apple begins with letter A."
理解单词是由字母组成的,并能够指出每个单词的首字母。学生们将能够说:“Apple begins with letter A.”

为了能然让孩子更好的理解beginning的含义,使用puzzle 引入beginning middle和end 的定义。

1. Sorting Activity (分类活动):
Today, we did a sorting activity to distinguish between letters and words. During this activity, students had to drag and drop letters or words while using the following sentence structures:
今天我们做了一个分类活动,帮助孩子区分字母和单词。在活动中,孩子们需要拖动字母或单词,并使用以下句型:

  • "It is the letter ." “这是字母____。”

  • "It is the word ." “这是单词____。”

  • "This is a letter."“这是一个字母。”

  • "This is a word."“这是一个单词。”

The students practiced sorting words that began with specific letters, reinforcing their understanding of letter recognition and word formation.
孩子们通过分类练习识别特定字母开头的单词,加深了他们对字母识别和单词构成的理解。

2. Game: "I Have, Who Has?" (游戏:“I Have, Who Has?”):
We played a fun game called "I Have, Who Has?" to reinforce our understanding of the alphabet. The students began to understand the rules of the game, but they are not yet fully familiar with it. We hope parents can continue practicing letter recognition, especially lowercase letters, at home with their children to further solidify their learning.
我们玩了一个有趣的游戏,叫做“I Have, Who Has?”,通过这个游戏帮助孩子们加深对字母的记忆。孩子们开始明白游戏的规则,但他们还不完全熟悉。我们希望家长们能够在家继续帮助孩子们复习字母,尤其是小写字母,从而更好地巩固他们的学习。
