Dear Colleague,
We’re excited to invite you to the launch of the Guidelines for the Restoration, Creation, and Management of Saltmarshes and Tidal Flats.
These habitats support diverse wildlife, including migratory waterbirds, provide food and income, and play a crucial role in coastal protection and carbon storage. However, they face threats from development, sea level rise, and land reclamation among others. The guidelines, developed by Wetlands International and Conservation Evidence (Cambridge University), as the first module of the World Coastal Ecosystem Conservation Tool by the World Coastal Forum, offer evidence-based best practices for restoring and creating these critical habitats.
Join our webinar to learn more on 24th September, 13:30-14:30 CEST. We encourage you to promote the event using the provided email text and social media assets.
