Senior Urban Design Professionals
Job Description
As we continue to grow our pipeline of projects, we are interested in speaking to Senior Urban Design professionals who may be interested in joining our Shanghai studio in the future.
These roles work closely with our principals, partners, and clients to provide innovative and creative urban design concepts and solutions to both public and private sector clients around the world.
These roles are involved in projects from procurement through to implementation, so skills in concept development and communication are important, as is the ability to lead highly motivated design and documentation teams. These roles within provide great opportunities for development and career progression.
Qualifications
Qualification in Urban Design, Architecture, or Landscape Design with several years professional experience, currently operating at a senior/associate urban designer level.
Optimistic and motivated all-rounder, with strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work as part of or manage small teams, inspiring design excellence.
Strong conceptual design ability and commitment to sustainable design principles.
Experience on complex urban design and regeneration projects.
Experience with client and consultant engagement.
Experience in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Suite.

Designer, Architecture
Job Description
We're looking for a Designer, Architecture to join our Shanghai studio. In this role, you’ll leverage your prior experience and passion for design to work across sectors, actively contributing to delivering complex projects through to successful completion.
You’ll be responsible for supporting the team and design process from the generation of spatial and material concepts to design development, documentation, and delivery.
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualifications and familiarity with relevant building codes
A minimum of 5 years relevant experience working on complex projects in China
Well-rounded design and documentation skills
Proficiency in Revit, MS Office, and Adobe Suite
A consultative and collaborative approach to working as part of a multi-discipline team
Ability to work as part of or manage small teams, inspiring design excellence
Willingness and interest in leading and mentoring our emerging designers in design, industry and technical issues
Have worked directly with senior leadership group on all aspects of design and be able to put forward new and creative ideas and challenge the norm

Job Description
As a Graduate Architect with Hassell, you will undertake design, documentation and construction phase services at the direction of senior team members on a range of project types.
As a key member of the Hassell team you will be fluent in key design programs including Revit, AutoCAD and associated visualisation software such as Rhino, Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project, and Adobe Suites. You will be a highly motivated individual who is energetic and passionate about design with a willingness to work on projects across multiple geographies.
Qualifications
We are looking for a Graduate of Architecture that is energetic and is experienced in concept design through to documentation. You should have:
Bachelor Degree, or higher qualification, in Architecture, Architectural Technology or related discipline.
Generates spatial and materials concepts, which can be realised as a building
Develops schematic designs to achieve objectives through an interactive process of hypothesis, evaluation and re-appraisal
Provides support in the development of design detail, material choice, finishes and colours
Well rounded skillset with experience in delivering concept design, design development and documentation packages
High graphic sensitivity with strong skills in Adobe programs including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Proficient in Rhino and Revit
