About our professor
Prof. Howei Wu
Assistant Professor of Economics, CEIBS
Dr.
Howei Wu is Assistant Professor of Economics at China Europe International
Business School (CEIBS). Prior to joining CEIBS, she was an Assistant Professor
and Economist for the China Macroeconomic Analysis and Forecast Project in
Institute for Advanced Research at Shanghai University of Finance and
Economics. Dr. Wu received her Ph.D and M.A in Economics from Stanford
University, B.A in Economics from Tsinghua University (Taiwan) and B.S in
Quantitative Finance from Tsinghua University (Taiwan).
Dr. Wu’s research and teaching interests concentrate on macroeconomics, monetary economics and financial economics. Her secondary research and teaching interests lie in innovation economics, computational economics, and China’s economic development. Her articles have been published in major academic journals, such as Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, and China Economic Review.
