罗伯特·基普尼斯 Robert Kipniss，1931年出生于纽约布鲁克林，美国著名的画家和版画家，目前居住在康涅狄格州西北部。
自1951年以来，Kipniss创作了大量的作品，其作品一直在世界各地的画廊和博物馆的个展上展出并被许多公共和私人机构收藏。
Kipniss自1968-90年专注于石版画创作，1990年以后转为铜版美柔汀技法，他可能是最著名的mezzotit在世的主要实践者之一。
他的作品充溢着新的艺术方法，并形成了自己独特的艺术风格，其作品多借助寻常景物和画面丰富细腻的层次传达人的孤独和内在体验。
