12月5日，江西省“你我一起，志愿同行”志愿服务嘉年华活动在南昌市西湖区万寿宫历史文化街区举行。此次活动吸引了来自24家机关、企事业单位及社会组织约160名青年志愿者，特别值得一提的是，现场还有两位新西兰籍语言志愿者，他们的出现尤为引人关注。On December 5th, the "Together, We Volunteer" Volunteer Service Carnival was held in Wanshougong Historical and Cultural District, Xihu District, Nanchang City. This activity attracted around 160 young volunteers from 24 government agencies, enterprises, institutions, and social organizations. Notably, two New Zealand language volunteers were also present, drawing particular attention.
在活动现场，设立9个优秀志愿服务展台，展示了来自省、市、区的9个优秀代表项目，包含社区服务、学校教育、医院医疗等各个领域。两位新西兰籍志愿者Steevie Hunia、 Zarius Waters也分别参与了应急救护知识普及培训、眼科义诊等志愿者服务活动体验，并与其他志愿者进行了互动交流。此外，她们还参与了游园打卡环节，通过闯关和答题的方式，在游园过程中探寻万寿宫的历史风貌、感受“英雄城”南昌的文化魅力。At the activity site, nine excellent volunteer service exhibition stands were set up, showcasing nine excellent representative projects from provincial, municipal and district levels, covering various fields such as community service, school education, hospital medical care. The two New Zealand volunteers, Steevie Hunia and Zarius Waters, participated in volunteer service activities such as emergency rescue knowledge training and free eye clinic, and interacted with other volunteers. In addition, they took part in the district tour, and explored the historical landscape of Wanshougong and experienced the cultural charm of Nanchang, the "Hero City", through answering questions during their tour.
据了解，这两位外籍志愿者是作为协助外语教学的教师来到中国，他们将在中国开展为期三个月的志愿服务。这支跨国志愿者服务队伍共计8人，是江西首批服务时间最长的外籍志愿者队伍。他们不仅带来了先进的教育理念和教学方法，促进了中新两国在教育领域的交流与合作，更以实际行动诠释了“奉献、友爱、互助、进步”的志愿精神，为两国人民之间架起了友谊的桥梁和纽带。It is understood that these two foreign volunteers came to China as teachers to assist in foreign language instruction. They will carry out a three-month volunteer services in China. This team of eight international volunteers represents Jiangxi's first group of foreign volunteers with the longest service period. They have not only brought advanced educational concepts and teaching methods, promoting exchanges and cooperation between China and New Zealand in the field of education, but also embodied the volunteer spirit of "dedication, friendship, mutual help, and progress" through their practical actions, building a bridge and tie of friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
