6月16日，在意大利艺术之都佛罗伦萨举办的"Existentialism/存在主义"TaylorChyn当代珠宝艺术个展隆重开幕。这场被誉为现代艺术与珠宝艺术跨界联姻别具一格、精彩纷呈的艺术家个人展览，备受意大利乃至国际艺术界和各大主流媒体的关注和瞩目。开幕式当晚，位于佛罗伦萨市中心的ISOLART GALLERY迎来了众多来自世界各国的艺术家、艺评人、珠宝艺术爱好者、时尚设计师等国际文化艺术界名流。Fondentearte艺术基金会代表， 意大利著名艺术收藏家、设计师、评论家Tiziana Vittoni、佛罗伦萨国际会展中心新闻负责人Fiamma Domestici、托斯卡纳大区电视台项目制片人Francesco Vivoli与行为表演艺术家Luca Bongini aka LUHAAA等嘉宾出席了开幕式，共同见证了这一艺术盛事。现场气氛热烈、反响空前，与会者与众多来宾对此次展览的创意理念、作品的格调品味欣赏不已、赞不绝口。意大利托斯卡纳大区电视台Toscana TV 专门现场报道了开幕式盛况，并对展览主办方代表、策展人进行了采访。
该电视台1976年11月在锡耶纳成立，从2000年开始，Toscana TV 在佛罗伦萨等地区为意大利国家电视台提供运营服务。本次展览报道于2024年6月23日罗马时间19点00分在意大利第11频道播放，预计超过370万托斯卡纳大区居民观看本次转播。
展览介绍
本次珠宝展览的主题为“Existentialism/存在主义”。谈到此次展览的创意，在意大利电视台的专访节目中，总策展人曹缘起用设问句式开启了对展览内涵的解答。珠宝的属性是什么？人们往往认为，是能用一般等价物衡量价值的昂贵性奢侈品，是自然界吝啬地给予人们妆靓扮美的稀缺性馈赠品，或是对人类生存并无实质意义的炫耀性消费品等等，这些附着在珠宝本体上的性质界定或许都有可取之处，但是对其本质性的所在，即艺术性价值，以及如影随形的社会性价值却毫不沾边。事实上，之所以能被称为“珠宝”，就在于创作者赋予其独特的美学设计和工艺技巧，它往往被融入了设计师的艺术灵感和创造力，而成为独特的艺术品。曹缘起说，这种艺术价值不仅体现在珠宝本身的美丽和独特性上，更体现在它由此从无生命灵性意义的物品转化为有社会功能价值意义的形而上意识形态，能够满足人们观念性追求和愉悦性喜好。而这，不正是存在主义哲学关于自我意识是定义物质存在的前提，以及物品离开个性意识的无意义性奥义之所在吗？！
The theme of this jewelry exhibition is "Existentialism." What are the attributes of jewelry? People often think of it as an expensive luxury item whose value can be measured by a common equivalent, as a rare gift from nature that sparsely adorns and beautifies people, or perhaps as a form of ostentatious consumption with no substantial significance to human existence. These definitions attached to the essence of jewelry might have some merit, but they do not touch upon its intrinsic nature, which lies in its artistic value and the accompanying social value. In fact, what qualifies something to be called "jewelry" is the unique aesthetic design and craftsmanship bestowed upon it by the creator. It is often infused with the designer's artistic inspiration and creativity, transforming it into a unique piece of art. This artistic value is not only reflected in the beauty and uniqueness of the jewelry itself but also in its metamorphosis from an inanimate object into a metaphysical ideology with social functional value. It satisfies people's conceptual pursuits and aesthetic preferences. This precisely echoes the existentialist philosophy that self-awareness is the premise for defining material existence, and that objects are meaningless without individual consciousness.
在本次展览中，艺术家Taylorchyn 通过创作出一系列前卫别致的珠宝艺术作品，引导观众进入艺术家内心的心路历程。每件作品都深刻地诠释着艺术家对自然、生命，以及自我认知的独特见解。有的作品或是沉重的质询，反映了人类对生命意义的追问；有的则是玄妙的幻想，表达了人性中对未知的向往和遐想。无论何种风格的作品，都能从中找到艺术家情感的宣泄与出口。这样一个主题性展览无疑会引发观众对生命本质的深入思考。将珠宝设计创作这种艺术形式与存在主义理念结合起来，在给人以崭新的视觉体验的同时，更能予人以精神感悟。
In this exhibition, artists have created a series of avant-garde and unique jewelry artworks, guiding the audience into the artists' inner journeys. Each piece profoundly interprets the artists' unique insights into nature, life, and self-awareness. Some works are heavy inquiries, reflecting humanity's quest for the meaning of life; others are mystical fantasies, expressing the human longing and imagination for the unknown. Regardless of the style, every piece reveals an outlet for the artists' emotions. Such a thematic exhibition will undoubtedly provoke deep reflection on the essence of life among the audience. Combining the art form of jewelry design with existentialist concepts provides a fresh visual experience while offering deeper spiritual insights.
观众将在这里感受到存在主义思想的张力与悸动,领略艺术家对生命之谜的独特阐释。让我们一起走进这个既熟悉又陌生的存在主义世界,去探寻人生的意义与价值。

I was once deep in a profound existential crisis. I kept asking, "What is the true meaning of life? What is the meaning of all things in this vast universe? And what is the essence of the so-called meaning?
I long to bravely explore and define my own meaning in a vast world where there is no established, inherent meaning.

我们生活在一个错综复杂的世界里,每个人都在不同程度上经历着存在主义的焦虑与困惑。艺术家Taylor以独特的视角审视这个世界,将存在主义的思想通过珠宝艺术的形式呈现在观众面前。
We live in an intricate world where everyone experiences existential anxiety and confusion to varying degrees. Artist Taylor looks at this world from a unique perspective, presenting the idea of existentialism to the audience through the form of jewellery art.
Taylorchyn，当代珠宝设计师,同时也是品牌Taylorchyn的创始人。目前就读于英国伯明翰大学珠宝及物品设计专业。他善于从事物的外在表相中洞见其内在本质,用艺术的力量探讨生命的意义和价值。凭借出色的设计理念和精湛的工艺, Taylor的作品往往融合了前卫的造型、高雅的色彩和精致的细节,让佩戴者感受到了珠宝背后所蕴含的深邃内涵。
艺术家热衷于珠宝创新实验,不断探索新的材料和工艺,试图突破传统的设计局限。他的创作灵感源于对人性、社会和宇宙的思考,希望通过珠宝艺术传达更多关于生命的真知灼见。
Taylorchyn is a contemporary jewellery designer and founder of the brand Taylorchyn. He is currently studying Jewellery and Object Design at the University of Birmingham. He has a knack for looking at things from the outside and exploring their essence, using the power of art to explore the meaning and value of life. With outstanding design concepts and exquisite craftsmanship, Taylor's work often combines avant-garde shapes, elegant colours and delicate details, allowing the wearer to feel the deeper meaning behind the jewellery.
Taylor is also passionate about jewellery innovation and experimentation, constantly exploring new materials and techniques in an attempt to break through traditional design limitations. He is inspired by his thoughts on human nature, society and the universe, and hopes to convey more insights about life through the art of jewellery.
