详细内容
The pursuit of decarbonization and improved energy flexibility has become paramount in our efforts to create a sustainable future. Addressing these challenges requires innovative solutions, and one technology that holds great promise is the heat pump. With its ability to contribute to efficient and flexible energy systems, heat pumps have garnered significant attention and present abundant opportunities in markets worldwide. This special issue aims to provide a contextual framework that focuses on advancing knowledge and innovations in the field of heat pump technology.
While this special issue is linked to the China Heat Pump Conference (CHPC), it is important to emphasize that it welcomes contributions from researchers worldwide who are interested in heat pump research. Recognizing the global significance of this topic, the special issue intends to foster international collaboration and knowledge exchange among experts from different countries and regions.
The primary objective of this special issue is to showcase original research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the field of heat pumps. While the collection of papers presented at the CHPC 2024 forms an integral part of this issue, the scope extends to include contributions from researchers worldwide who explore various aspects of heat pump technology. By encompassing a wide range of sources, this special issue aims to capture the breadth and depth of research in the field.
The following topics serve as a guide, but are not exhaustive, to the types of research that are encouraged for submission:
Heat pump systems and technology advancements
Large-scale heat pumps and their role in district heating
High-temperature heat pumps
Large temperature lift heat pumps
Applications of heat pumps across various sectors
Heat pump integration with energy systems
Heat pumps for flexibility improvement in energy grids
Heat pumps with energy storage capabilities
Working fluids for heat pumps
Heat pumps integrated with renewable energy
Manuscript submission information:
We sincerely welcome manuscripts containing novel, high quality, and unpublished research results. This special issue is linked to the Conference CHPC2024- 2nd China Heat Pump Conference in Shenzhen, China. Any papers from outside the conference on the topic of heat pumps are also welcome. The invited submissions will be processed and reviewed in the same way as open submissions. Both review articles and original research articles are welcome. All submissions deemed suitable to be sent for peer review will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.
This is a Joint special issue of journal Applied Energy and Advances in Applied Energy. You could choose either journal to submit your paper. If you have any queries on submitting in a joint special issue, kindly contact with the guest editors or Elsevier Content Acquisition Specialist at x.ge@elsevier.com.
Manuscripts should be submitted via journal online submission system at: Editorial Manager for Applied Energy and Editorial Manager for Advances in Applied Energy by selecting the Article Type of " VSI: Heat Pumps". A detailed submission guideline is available as “Guide for Authors Applied Energy” and Guide for authors Advances in Applied Energy.
Once your manuscript is accepted, it will go into production and will be simultaneously published in the current regular issue and pulled into the online Special Issue. Articles from this Special Issue will appear in different regular issues of the journal, though they will be clearly marked and branded as Special Issue articles.
Important Dates:
Manuscript Submission Deadline: 31 December 2024
