序 Overview
11月15日,四年级家长们来到爱莎文华小学,近距离感受孩子们在校园里的生活与学习。共同观摩了数学和 UOI 两堂课以及全方位感受学生成长展示,教师们向家长们介绍了学生在校的学习情况以及发展规划。
On November 15, 4th Grade parents came to ISA Wenhua Wuhan Primary School to experience their children's life and learning on campus. The two classes of mathematics and UOI were observed together, as well as the all-round experience of students' growth exhibition, and the teachers introduced the students' learning situation and development plan in school to the parents.
8 点 25分,一场温馨而特别的欢迎仪式,当家长们出现时,学生们通过用四国语言的欢迎词热情接待。在爱莎我们每个人都努力做一位会多国语言的交流者,这样日常化的表达也是我们平时课堂上经常会练到的。看着可爱的孩子们,空气中都充满着可爱因子,孩子们领着家长走进我们的课堂。
At 8:25, a warm and special welcome ceremony was held, and when parents showed up, the students warmly received them by welcoming them in four languages. At ISA, each of us strives to be a multilingual communicator, and such everyday expressions are often practiced in our classes. Looking at the lovely children, the air is full of cute factors, children lead parents into our classroom.

数学Math
在四年级的开放日上,我们上了一堂别开生面的数学课!这节课的主题超级有趣,是围绕IB核心概念中的一个重要方面——变化,来探索数学中的规律。具体来说,我们深入研究了商的变化规律,通过小组合作的方式,大家自主探究、热烈讨论,在同学之间分享了自己的发现和见解。整个过程不仅让我们对数学有了更深的理解,还培养了学生的合作精神和探究能力。
We had a wonderful math class! The topic of this lesson is super interesting, exploring the laws of mathematics around an important aspect of the core IB concept - change. Specifically, we have studied the changing rules of business in depth, and through group cooperation, we have conducted independent exploration and heated discussion, and shared our findings and insights among classmates. The whole process not only gives us a deeper understanding of mathematics, but also cultivates students' spirit of cooperation and ability of inquiry.
探究 UOI
本单元 UOI 的课题是我们身处怎样的时空,主题是宇宙,这一两周我们老师带领学生探索了解了许多神话故事,看看这些故事中暗含了什么天文知识。这堂课我们集中在星座相关的内容,复习了这个单元的探究主线以及上节课里讲到的星空知识,然后让同学们和家长们一起动手制作自己的望远镜,试试看能不能看到这些有趣的星空云图。
The topic of UOI in this unit is what kind of time and space we are in, and the theme is the universe. In this week or two, our teacher led the students to explore and understand many mythological stories and see what astronomical knowledge is implied in these stories. In this class, we focused on the content related to constellations, reviewed the main line of inquiry of this unit and the knowledge of starry sky mentioned in the last class, and then let the students and their parents make their own telescopes and try to see whether they can see these interesting starry sky cloud images.
风采 Showcase
学生展示过程中,所有的G4学生都纷纷走上台,汇报了自己的学习成果或兴趣发展发向,让家长们看到了孩子们在校一段时间后的进步和变化。同学们还生动地向家长们讲诉了自己在校园里的学习生活日常状态,学到的知识和技能以及不断在培养的主人翁意识。
In the process of student presentation, all G4 students came on stage and reported their learning achievements or interest development, so that parents could see the progress and changes of their children after a period of time in school. The students also vividly told their parents about their daily state of study and life on campus, the knowledge and skills they have learned and the sense of ownership they are constantly developing.

The IB Primary Language Programme is a rich and in-depth learning. Ms. Luo, the Chinese teacher, conveyed her classroom philosophy: Start with the end, return to the true, return to the present, return to the state of the child itself!

这次家长课堂老师为家长提供本学期英语课程和主要成果的概述,从我们如何进行分层教学、培养好的学习习惯、培养探究精神、英语课堂学习愿景以及家长如何在家里支持学生英语学习几个方面进行分享。老师展示了许多学生在不同阶段完成的作业作品。
This time, the Parent classroom teacher provides parents with an overview of the English lessons and main achievements of this semester, from how we do stratified teaching, develop good study habits, cultivate the spirit of inquiry, the vision of English classroom learning, and how parents can support students' English learning at home. The teacher showed the work that many students had done in different stages.

在家长课堂环节,我们生动展现了一种独特的数学课堂教学模式。这种模式以概念为引领,以探究为核心,高度重视学生的主观能动性,旨在大力弘扬学生自主探究的学习精神。通过这样的课堂活动和氛围,我们希望能够激发学生的学习兴趣,培养他们的独立思考能力和批判性思维。
In the parents' class, we vividly demonstrated a unique mathematics classroom teaching model. This model takes concept as the guidance, takes inquiry as the core, attaches great importance to students' subjective initiative, and aims to vigorously promote students' learning spirit of independent inquiry. Through such classroom activities and atmosphere, we hope to stimulate students' interest in learning and develop their ability to think independently and critically.

’Thanks to all the teachers and children of the school for all their efforts to make us have a great experience! The thoughtful scenes start from the children holding the welcome sign to the elevator gate until the event ends.
