武汉爱莎外籍人员子女学校
本周，武汉爱莎外籍人员子女学校的同学们在中文习得课上学习了如何使用各种词汇和句子结构来描述一个人。中文老师李老师布置了一个题为 “我的同学 ”的公开演讲任务，让学生们介绍一位同学。Daisy同学介绍了她的日本同学 Modaka；Stacey 同学介绍了以经常说 “6 ”而闻名的 Katerina（在中文网络俚语中，数字 “6 ”用于表达赞美或讽刺）；Polina 同学介绍了她的朋友 Stacey；Terance同学 介绍了他的意大利朋友 Matteo。通过这些演讲，学生们锻炼了自己的中文口语能力，同时也对同学们有了新的认识。

In the Chinese Language Acquisition class, G9 students began a new lesson focused on learning how to describe a person using a variety of vocabulary and sentence structures. Chinese teacher Mr. Li assigned a public speaking task titled “My Classmate,” where students gave presentations introducing a peer. Daisy Lee introduced her Japanese classmate, Modaka; Stacey introduced Katerina, a student known for frequently saying “6”( in Chinese internet slang, the number "6" is used to express praise or sarcasm); Polina introduced her friend Stacey; and Terance presented about his Italian friend Matteo. Through these presentations, the students practiced their Chinese speaking skills while also gaining new perspectives on their classmates.

武汉爱莎文华「小学部」
本周，武汉爱莎文华小学的学生们开始学习了沙漠相关的单词与内容。我们学到了一些关于沙漠的有趣的事实，也了解到了一些著名的沙漠，如：阿塔卡马沙漠、撒哈拉沙漠、索诺兰沙漠。此外，我们还学习了形容词的比较级和最高级，如：大的、更大的、最大的；美丽的、更美丽的、最美丽的，以及如何使用这些形容词的比较级和最高级。
在自然拼读课上，我们完成了第三单元内容的额学习，并复习了本单元已学的所有单词。接着我们开始了新的话题，我们学习了带有-air，-are，-ear，-cheer的单词。同时我们还进行了拼写测试，用来复习我们学过的单词。

This week, we started learning about deserts and words associated with deserts. We learnt some interesting facts about deserts and also some famous deserts such as: the atacama, sahara, sonoran. We also learnt about adjectives comparatives and superlatives such as: big bigger biggest, beautiful more beautiful most beautiful.
In phonics this week, we finished our unit 3 topic and reviewed all of the words from the unit. We then started our new topic, in which we learnt words that have -air, -are, -ear, -cheer. We also had a spelling test in which we reviewed the words we had studied.
