As a crucial component of Syntegrative Education, X3 Co-Venture is excited to introduce an exclusive Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) project on campus - the Unmanned Boat Operation Programme! This programme aims to further guide and support students’ innovative and entrepreneurial activities, stimulating every XJTLUer’s enthusiasm for participation and entrepreneurial potential.
Two autonomously passenger boats will be used as the entrepreneurial base, to be planned, operated, and managed by student teams. Through this real entrepreneurial project, students will gain valuable hands-on experience, operate million-level project, quickly accumulate core professional skills and deepen their understanding of entrepreneurship and management.
Currently, these two autonomous passenger boats are nearly ready. We are looking for brave and bold XJTLU students to join us and to embark on a new chapter of aquatic entrepreneurship!
Project details
Name: Steering Towards the Sails of Tomorrow! -the Unmanned Boat Operation Programme!

To help understand the project details, X3 Co-Venture will hold a project briefing session. At the meeting, a detailed introduction to the project and answer questions will be provided. Moreover, students will have the opportunity to find like-minded peers on-site to form teams and brainstorm ideas together.

Requirements
1. Interior design concept: aesthetics and theme, efficient use of space, modern style and furniture, material selection, environmental considerations.
2. Business concept: Brief description of the unmanned boat, focusing on its potential and unique benefits tailored to passengers, eg café, cultural tourism, leisure, etc.
3. Target market and market needs: Identify specific needs and preferences of internal and external customers, such as affordable pricing, appealing activities, etc.
4. Products and services: Detailed list of service offerings, highlighting any specialty or signature items.
5. Pricing and sales forecast by the category of the product.
6. Facilities and Equipment: Detailed list of necessary facilities and equipment, including costs and potential suppliers.
7. Daily Operations: Description of daily operations, including hours of operation, staffing needs, and supplier relationships.
8. Promotion and Advertising: Plan for promoting the unmanned boat through social media, partnerships with student organizations, on-campus and off-campus advertising.
9. HR: main team members roles and profiles + additional staff: admin, legal, account, lifeguard and so on.
10. Financials: P&L statement format: 1 year projection.
11. Management Structure: proposed key management team members to manage and operate the business according to the proposed business concept.
12. Others: Teams must consist of at least 2 members; business plans can focus on a business on the boat; teams can add additional content to their business plans as needed.
