聚焦数智化转型与生态管理 第十九届（2024）中国管理学年会在苏州西交利物浦大学举办

The 19th China Management Annual Conference (2024), focusing on "Digital Intelligence Transformation and Ecological Management," was successfully held at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in Suzhou.

2024年10月25-27日，第十九届（2024）中国管理学年会在西交利物浦大学西浦创业家学院（太仓）举办，来自海内外管理学界逾千位专家学者、政府及企业界代表齐聚苏州，围绕“数智化转型与生态管理”主题，探讨人工智能时代背景下学术界和企业界的前沿理论和最佳实践。

From October 25 to 27, 2024, the 19th China Management Annual Conference (2024) was held at the XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang). Over a thousand experts, scholars, government and business representatives from both China and abroad gathered in Suzhou to discuss the theme of "Digital Intelligence Transformation and Ecological Management," exploring cutting-edge theories and best practices in the context of the artificial intelligence era in both academia and the business world.

西浦创业家学院（太仓）举办“融合式教育最佳实践”分享会

XJTLU Entrepreneur College（Taicang）Ogranised the XEC Champions Best Practices Sharing Session 

10月31日，西浦创业家学院（太仓）成功举办第一次“融合式教育最佳实践”分享会，围绕“融合式教育卓越中心”与“融合式项目”两大主题，展开了深入交流与分享。此次活动旨在进一步推广西浦创业家学院（太仓）在践行融合式教育理念下产生的最佳实践案例，促进学校内外、行业合作伙伴以及政府机构之间的跨领域交流合作。

活动中，来自创业与企业港的Joe Lo博士分享了“融合式教育行动：培育创业文化与学术卓越的协作”的主题演讲，随后，智能机器人学院的朱凡博士以“移动机器人设计中的融合式探索”为题发表演讲。

此外，物联网学院的董彧佶博士与产金融合学院的Yuan Virtanen博士分别介绍了物联网领域的融合式项目以及产金融合学院-产金阁项目，展示了融合式项目如何连接前沿技术教学、创业模块与产业实践，为学生提供了基于项目的学习与能力提升平台。

On 31 October, XEC successfully organized the first XEC Champions Best Practices Sharing Session focusing the topics of “Centre of Excellence for Syntegrative Education (CoESE) and “Syntegrative Projects”.  The event aimed to further promoting the best practice cases generated by XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang) in implementing the Syntegrative Education philosophy, and fostering the collaborations among internal and external stakeholders of the university, industry partners, and government.

During the event, Dr. Joe Lo from the Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Hub delivered a keynote speech on "The Syntegrative Education Initiative. Subsequently, Dr. Fan Zhu from the School of Robotics presented "Exploration of Syntegrative Education in Mobile Robots Design".

Furthermore, Dr. Yuji Dong from the School of Internet of Things and Dr. Yuan Virtanen from the School of Intelligent Finance and Business shared the Syntegrative Education Projects in the field of IoT and the IFB-Hub Projects, respectively. They demonstrated how Syntegrative Education projects connect frontier technology teaching, entrepreneurial modules, and industry practice, providing students with a platform for project-based learning and skill enhancement.

融合行动 | 在西浦创业家学院（太仓）成功举办，近400百名大一学生参与活动

Technology Initiatives | was successfully held at XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang), nearly 400 hundred first-year students came to participate in the event.

10月12日，融合行动 | 在西浦创业家学院（太仓）顺利举办。本次活动面向西浦所有大一同学，近400 名大一学生从苏州校区前往西浦创业家学院（太仓）。通过亲身体验行业学院体验课、融合式课堂以及社团活动，学生深度了解了融合式教育模式，感受到前沿技术与企业家思维的高度融合，对西浦创业家学院（太仓）有了进一步的兴趣。当日，在创新工场与浦创汇联合举办的活动上，大一同学得到了展示自己初步的创新创业灵感的机会。成功完成任务的同学获得了来自printing³的3D打印小礼品。学生们在积极的讨论中发掘出了自己对未来创新创业的热情。

On 12th October, Technology Initiatives | was successfully held at XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang). The event attracted nearly 400 Year 1 students to participate. 

Through experiencing the industry school’s experiential module, Syntegrative class and student club activities, the students gained an in-depth understanding of the Syntegrative Education model, felt the high degree of syntegration of cutting-edge technology and entrepreneurial thinking, and gained further interest in XEC. 

On the same day, students were given the opportunity to showcase their initial innovation and entrepreneurship inspirations at an event jointly organised by Innovation Factory and X³ Co-Venture. Students who successfully completed their tasks received 3D printing swag from printing³. Students uncovered their passion for future innovation and entrepreneurship in active discussions.

On 30 October, the Taicang Industry-Academia-Research-Finance Conference: XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang) Artificial Intelligence & Internet of Things Special Session was successfully held at the Technovation Valley · 

Science and Technology Innovation Park in Taicang. The purpose of this event was to further deepen the effectiveness of Taicang’s collaborative innovation in industry, academia, research, and finance, and to build a cooperative platform for the integrated development of local scientific, educational, industrial, and financial resources. Academic staff from School of AI and Advanced Computing and School of Internet of Things shared their technical achievements, they are Dr Siqi Huang, Dr Jingxin Liu, Dr Pascal Lefèvre, Dr Yuji Dong and Dr Mian zhou.

人工智能与先进计算学院张迪博士、刘恒岩博士和徐鹏璟博士近日与三三智能科技（苏州）有限公司成功签订科研合作协议，将启动基于深度学习的智能坐垫传感信号识别项目。

Dr Di Zhang, Dr Hengyan Liu and Dr Pengjing Xu from the School of AI and Advanced Computing have successfully signed a research contract with Suzhou Sansan Sensor Technology Co., LTD recently, which is to launch a project on Deep Learning-based Sensing Signal Recognition for Intelligent Cushions.

IoT Y4 Students Had a Field trip to MEMSensing

9月24日，在物联网学院张文章、商务拓展经理杜婷婷老师和钱琴老师的组织下，物联网工程专业无线传感器网络（Wireless Sensor Network）课程的大四学生前往苏州敏芯微电子技术股份有限公司进行参访。此次参访旨在加深学生对MEMS传感器产业的认识，拓宽其专业视野，为今后的职业生涯积累宝贵经验。

On 24 September, led by Dr. Wenzhang Zhang, Ms. Tingting Du, and Ms. Qin Qian, senior students from the School of IoT in the module of Wireless Sensor Network visited MEMSensing Microsystems (Suzhou,China)Co.,Ltd. This visit aimed to deepen students' understanding of the MEMS sensor industry, broaden their professional perspectives, and gather invaluable experience for their future careers.

10月17-18日，物联网学院代表访问了马来西亚三所大学--马来西亚玛拉工艺大学（UiTM），双威大学（SUNWAY University） 和泰勒大学（Taylor's University）。期间，双方就学生交流、教学合作、研究合作及文化交流等方面展开了深入交流，并共同探讨了未来可能的具体合作领域。

From 17-18 October, a delegation from the School of IoT visited three universities in Malaysia: Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Sunway University, and Taylor’s University. During the visit, both parties engaged in extensive discussions on student exchange, academic collaboration, research, and cultural exchange, and jointly explored potential areas for future cooperation.

10月10日，产金融合学院的供应链管理与数字化商业专业的同学在张文佼副教授和商务拓展经理宋翔雪的带领下，踏上了前往舍弗勒安亭研发中心的参访之旅。本次参访交流活动不仅让学生们对舍弗勒集团有了更深入的了解，也让他们对供应链、数字营销以及跨领域的国际间合作也有了更加直观的认识，为以后的专业学习和未来的职业发展提供了宝贵的实践经验。

On 10 October, students majoring in BSc Intelligent Supply Chain with Contemporary Entrepreneurialism and MSc Digital Business from the School of Intelligent Finance and Business, led by Dr. Wenjiao Zhang and Business Development Manager Xiangxue Song, embarked on a visit to the SCHAEFFLER Anting R&D Center. This company visit not only provided the students with a deeper understanding of the Schaeffler Group but also gave them firsthand insights into supply chain, digital marketing, and international cross-disciplinary cooperation.

On 23 October, students from the School of Intelligent Finance and Business, led by Dr. Yuelin Shen, Zhongshuo Chen, and Business Development Manager Xiangxue Song, visited Xuntang Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. in Suzhou. The company's head, Tao Yang, warmly welcomed the group and facilitated a tour of the facilities. This visit provided the students with a valuable opportunity to gain deep insights into industry operations.

Year 2 IFB Students Visit Classy-Kiss Yogurt for Insights into Food Supply Chain

10月24日，产金融合学院向梦园老师带领45名供应链管理专业的大二学生参观了苏州的卡士酸奶公司。本次参访让学生们通过实地考察食品制造业的运作环节与日常挑战，特别是酸奶的生产与供应链流程，增进了对食品制造和供应链行业的理解，也为其未来职业规划提供了宝贵的实践经验。

On 24 October, Dr. Xiang Mengyuan led 45 second-year Supply Chain Management students from the School of Intelligent Finance and Business to visit Classy-Kiss Yogurt in Suzhou. This visit provided students with hands-on insights into the operational stages and challenges of the food supply chain, particularly yogurt production and logistics. The experience enriched their understanding of the food manufacturing and supply chain industry, offering valuable practical knowledge for their studies.

On 30th October, the faculty and students (UG&PhD) from the School of Internet of Things visited Shanghai NIO Experience Center, gaining insights into NIO's innovation achievements in the field of electric vehicles, and understand how NIO has been leading the industry’s development through ongoing technological innovation.

Dr. Isadora Petrauskas from Academy of Film and Creative Technology contributed a chapter to the book "Otherness in Communication Research”: "Through the Looking Glass: Listening as a Path to Otherness."

The book, published in October, delves deeply into the experiences and impacts of being marginalized, excluded, and treated as lesser from multifaceted perspectives encompassing media studies, interpersonal communication, and intercultural communication. It boldly challenges representations of otherness often associated with colonial texts and the hegemonic characteristics of Western societies, thereby providing a pluralistic and inclusive reading platform for voices from the Global South. Dr. Juan Carlos Vasquez's 8-channel electroacoustic piece, The Eternalist Paradox, has been selected for The Australasian Computer Music Conference (ACMC) 2024, which aims to present and discuss research and artistic advances in the field of computer and electronic music. The work opened at the Australian Conservatory of Music in Sydney on 22 October.

Dr. Juan Carlos Vasquez's electroacoustic music piece “Máquina M.” was selected for The Semaine International de la Création Musicale (SICM 2024). The event features seminars, workshops and concerts at the the University of Lille and the Sorbonne Université. The work of Dr. Juan Carlos Vasquez was performed at the concert on October 3.

Unmanned Boat Operation Programme

作为融合式教育的重要组成部分，浦创汇特别推出了校内专属的中小型创业项目（Small and Medium Enterprises, SME）——无人船运营计划，旨在进一步引导和支持学生的创新创业活动，激发大家的参与热情和创业潜力。此次项目将由浦创汇引入的两艘自动驾驶载人船作为创业基地，交由学生团队亲自策划、运营与管理。通过这一真实的创业项目，学生将获得宝贵的实战机会，运营百万级项目，快速积累核心职业技能，深化对创业和管理的理解。

As a crucial component of Syntegrative Education, X³ Co-Venture is excited to introduce an exclusive Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) project on campus - the Unmanned Boat Operation Programme! This programme aims to further guide and support students’ innovative and entrepreneurial activities, stimulating every XJTLUer’s enthusiasm for participation and entrepreneurial potential. 

Two autonomously passenger boats will be used as the entrepreneurial base, to be planned, operated, and managed by student teams. Through this real entrepreneurial project, students will gain valuable hands-on experience, operate million-level project, quickly accumulate core professional skills and deepen their understanding of entrepreneurship and management. 

浦创汇入孵项目在第十二届“创业梦之星”评选活动中获奖

The X³ CoVenture Project Won a Prestigious Award at the 12th Entrepreneurial Dream Star 

在备受瞩目的第十二届“创业梦之星”项目组评选活动中，经过一系列严格的选拔过程，包括海选、初赛评审以及决赛等环节，浦创汇入孵项目“重塑新声”在150余个参赛项目中脱颖而出，荣获“最具创意奖”。至今，该项目团队已在多个级别的双创大赛中累计荣获超过10项奖项。

为进一步强化浦创汇在融合教育中的作用，激发学生的参与热情和创业潜力，浦创汇将陆续推出一系列校内专属中小创业项目（SME），以创造更多创新商业的机会。这些项目涵盖了3D打印、无人船、校园咖啡店以及古建筑等多元领域，为学生提供丰富的实践机会和创业体验，为未来的职业生涯积累关键技能和经验。

X³ Co-Venture incubated business project “Hear Bridge Technologies” stood out from over 150 competing projects and won the “Most Creative Award” in the highly anticipated 12th Dream of Entrepreneurship Competition (project group), after a series of rigorous selection processes, including auditions, preliminary reviews, and finals. To date, the project team has accumulated more than 10 awards in various levels of entrepreneurship and innovation competitions.

To further strengthen the role of X³ Co-Venture in Syntegrative Education and stimulate students’ enthusiasm for participation and entrepreneurial potential, X³ Co-Venture will successively launch a series of exclusive SME projects on campus to create more opportunities for innovative businesses. These projects cover diverse fields such as 3D printing, unmanned boats, campus coffee shops and ancient building, providing students with ample practical opportunities and entrepreneurial experiences to accumulate key skills and experiences for their future careers.

Successful Training Workshops for “JITRI Cup” XJTLU Global ‘Dream-Chasers’ Entrepreneurial Competition

10月23日与30日，在西浦苏州工业园区校园，创业与企业港的讲师团队为“JITRI杯”全球创业梦想家大赛的所有参赛选手及在校学生精心策划并成功举办了两场专业培训工作坊。活动内容丰富，包括Victor Perez博士主讲的精彩可视化培训，以及Bo Zhang博士带来的实用商务演讲技巧分享。参赛选手与西浦学子们积极参与，共同提升创业能力。

On 23 and 30 October, the Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Hub at XJTLU SIP campus successfully organised two professional workshops tailored for all students participating in the "JITRI Cup" Global 'Dream-Chasers' Entrepreneurial Competition. The events featured engaging sessions, including the Visualization Training led by Dr. Victor Perez and the Business Presentation Skills workshop conducted by Dr. Bo Zhang. With enthusiastic participation from all participants, the workshops marked a significant step in enhancing their entrepreneurial knowledge and abilities.

On 16 October, faculty members and students from the School of Intelligent Finance and Business attended the 6th Sino·Singapore (Suzhou) Digital Fintech Expo. The innovative products and cutting-edge technologies showcased at the expo highlighted the vitality and potential of digital finance. Through interactions with industry professionals, students broadened their perspectives and gained new insights into digital finance developments. This visit provided them with a clearer understanding of industry trends, offering valuable insights for their future studies.

10月25日，产金融合学院与西浦国际商学院在西浦创业家学院（太仓）联合举办了一场学术研讨会。特邀Xuezhong He教授、郝斌博士、肖亚军博士、刘嘉涛博士和李书宇博士发表演讲，研讨会旨在推动学术交流，探讨资产定价、企业融资与绿色金融等前沿话题。

On 25 October, the School of Intelligent Finance and Business and the International Business School Suzhou co-hosted an academic workshop at Entrepreneur College in Taicang. The event featured presentations by Prof. Xuezhong He, Dr. Bin Hao, Dr. Yajun Xiao, Dr. Jiatao Liu, and Dr. Shuyu Li. The workshop focused on fostering academic exchanges and exploring cutting-edge topics such as pricing, corporate financing, and green finance.

10月28日，产金融合学院成功举办了“设计人生”课程。特别邀请斯坦福大学设计人生认证教练钟敏女士担任讲师。钟敏女士以其丰富的教学经验和亲切的授课风格，向学生介绍了“爱乐学健”仪表盘与能量地图等实用工具。本次课程有效地将积极心理学等前沿理论融入实践，引导学生提升自我意识，制定清晰的人生目标。

On 28 October, the School of Intelligent Finance and Business successfully held its “Designing Your Life” lecture, featuring Stanford-certified Life Design coach, Ms. Min Zhong, as the guest instructor. Leveraging her extensive teaching experience and approachable style, Ms. Min Zhong introduced tools such as the “Love, Learn, Work, Play” Dashboard and Energy Map. By blending positive psychology and other progressive theories into practice, this course empowers students to foster inner awareness and embark on a purpose-driven life journey.

10月23日，影视与创意科技学院携手西浦学生社团（SCS）成功举办了一场联合特色活动—跳蚤市场。活动现场异常火爆，吸引了数百名学生的热情参与。学生们纷纷摆摊设点，展示自己的二手物品、手工艺品和创意产品，交流互动频繁，现场气氛热烈。此次跳蚤市场不仅为学生们提供了一个展示自我的平台，还促进了校园文化的发展和交流。

On 23 October, Academy of Film and Creative Technology together with the Student Club Support Center (SCS) successfully held a joint featured activity - a flea market. The event was extremely hot, attracting hundreds of students to participate enthusiastically. Students set up stalls to display their second-hand goods, handicrafts and creative products, with frequent exchanges and interactions and a warm atmosphere. The flea market not only provided a platform for students to show themselves but also promoted the development and exchange of campus culture.

2024年10月14日，影视与创意科技学院成功举办了中国首届Prompt Battle比赛。在来自影视与创意科技学院和创业与企业港的人工智能领域专家的指导下，30多名学生通过淘汰赛角逐本次比赛的冠军。

The Academy of Film and Creative Technology (AoFCT) hosted one of China’s first Prompt Battles on the 14th of October, 2024. Guided by experts in AI prompting from AoFCT and EEH, more than 30 students went head to head in a knockout battle to be crowned the Prompt Battle Champion of XJTLU.

On 16 October, 2024, Dr Wei Chen, the UIME Programme Director from the School of Intelligent Manufacturing Ecosystem, led nearly 100 first-year students on a visit to the Haier Casarte factory in Shanghai. Students gained insights into cutting-edge technologies and production processes in modern home appliance manufacturing.
