Heitor Almeida教授
Heitor Almeida 是 Stanley C. 和 Joan J. Golder 公司金融学主席，也是吉斯商学院的学术主任。他于 2007 年加入伊利诺伊大学，同时也是国家经济研究局的助理研究员。他的研究专长包括财务约束、流动性管理、企业集团、财务困境、创新和股票回购。他担任或曾经担任过许多金融期刊的副主编，目前担任Journal of Financial Intermediation、Journal of Banking and Finance的副主编。他于 2021 年 1 月成为Journal of Corporate Finance的主编。Almeida 获得了两个学士学位，一个是 1991 年在贝洛奥里藏特的米纳斯吉拉斯联邦大学获得的，另一个是 1993 年在贝洛奥里藏特的中央大学乌纳分校获得的。他1995年在里约热内卢天主教大学获得经济学硕士学位，2000年在芝加哥大学获得经济学博士学位。
Steven Dellaportas教授
Steven Dellaportas是西交利物浦大学的会计学教授，已发表论文60余篇，曾在澳大利亚、亚洲、英国和美国多次受邀做演讲。他的主要研究领域是会计专业伦理，特别是伦理规范、欺诈、专业精神和伦理教育，目前担任Journal of Business Ethics的共同主编。Steven Dellaportas教授是两本教材的主要作者，其中一本教材《Principles of Ethics and Corporate Governance in Financial Services》已发行英、日两个版本，广受好评。除此之外，Steven Dellaportas教授还为会计机构的专业发展计划开发伦理学相关内容。
Sabri Boubaker教授
Sabri Boubaker是法国诺曼底管理学院会计与财务系的教授，目前担任SSCI期刊Journal of International Financial Management & Accounting主编，Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions, and Money的专题主编、International Review of Economics and Finance和International Journal of Finance & Economics的副主编。他的研究主要集中在公司财务、公司治理、企业社会责任资本预算和公司投资、资本结构和支出政策等领域。研究成果发表在Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of International Money and Finance, Financial Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Auditing: A Journal of Theory & Practice和 British Journal of Management等国际期刊上。
Jason Zezhong Xiao教授
Jason Zezhong Xiao是澳门大学工商管理学院会计学教授、会计及资讯管理系主任。研究兴趣包括中国会计监管、会计信息系统、会计和公司治理，研究成果发表于Accounting, Organizations and Society、Journal of Corporate Finance、Journal of Banking and Finance以及《经济研究》《管理世界》等期刊。中国会计学会英文会刊China Journal of Accounting Studies的共同创刊主编，现任British Accounting Review共同主编、Abacus副主编。

论文提交与截止日期
本次会议仅接受以英语写作的论文。所有投稿的作者请将论文全文或扩展性摘要于2024年9月10日前发送至邮箱 icafem@163.com。组委会将组织专家进行匿名评审，在2024年9月20日前通知论文入选结果。论文评选的基本标准是研究主题的性质、意义以及研究设计的质量。

经过作者同意，向本次会议投稿的文章视同向BAR/EM/FRL/JBE /JCF/JIFMA/IREF/IRFA投稿。如果作者拟将文章发表在上述杂志上，请注意提交论文的时间。论文被本次会议接受，并不意味着最终一定能够发表在该杂志上。所有被会议接受的文章，如果想发表在上述杂志上，仍然需要经历一轮标准评审的程序，以便达到该杂志的文章质量要求。被会议录用的文章，需要现场汇报论文并参与论文的交叉点评。

BACKGROUND
In the current era of rapid technological development, modern enterprises are facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities. The deepening of economic globalization, intensified digital transformation, and continuous progress in information technology all require enterprises to constantly innovate their forms of productivity and financial management.
New Quality Productive Forces is an advanced quality of productivity that plays a leading role in innovation, breaks away from traditional economic growth models and productivity development paths, has high-tech, high-efficiency, and high-quality characteristics, and conforms to the new development concept. Studying new quality productivity can significantly enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. New quality productivity emphasizes technological innovation, process optimization, and efficient resource allocation. It introduces cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and big data analysis to digitize, intelligentize, and automate the production process, thereby improving production efficiency and product quality.
Digital intelligence finance utilizes big data analysis and intelligent algorithms to achieve real-time data collection, dynamic monitoring, and accurate prediction. This not only improves data transparency and security, but also simplifies audit and regulatory processes. This transformation helps companies to have a more comprehensive understanding of their financial situation, optimize capital operations, and improve the scientific and forward-looking nature of financial decision-making.
From a macro perspective, studying the development of new quality productivity and intelligent finance can also help promote sustainable social development. New quality productivity can effectively reduce the negative impact of production activities on the environment through more precise resource scheduling and waste management. At the same time, the development of smart finance contributes to the promotion of green finance, accelerates the development process of low-carbon economy, and supports enterprises in achieving the dual goals of social responsibility and economic benefits.
From a micro perspective, studying the development of new quality productivity and intelligent finance can also help achieve scientific decision-making. The research on new quality productivity can provide enterprises with richer and more accurate production data, and intelligent finance can transform these data into specific financial indicators and risk assessments. Through data-driven decision-making models, business managers can better predict market changes, seize investment opportunities, and mitigate risks. Such scientific decision-making can not only improve the internal management efficiency of enterprises, but also provide more transparent and reliable financial information for external investors, thereby enhancing market trust.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Prof Heitor Almeida
Heitor Almeida is Stanley C. and Joan J. Golder Chair in Corporate Finance and academic director of I-degrees at Gies College of Business. He joined the University of Illinois in 2007, and also works as a research associate for the National Bureau of Economic Research. His research specialties include financial constraints, liquidity management, business groups, financial distress, innovation, and stock repurchases. He serves or has served as associate editor for numerous financial journals, and is currently in that role for the Journal of Financial Intermediation and the Journal of Banking and Finance. He will become managing editor at the Journal of Corporate Finance in January 2021. Almeida received two BAs, one from the Federal University of Minas Gerais at Belo Horizonte in 1991, the other from Central University Una at Belo Horizonte in 1993. He went on to earn a master’s degree in economics from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and a PhD in economics from the University of Chicago in 2000.
Professor Steven Dellaportas
Prof. Steven Dellaportas is a professor at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. He has been a Professor of Accounting since 2013, with an academic career spanning more than 30 years. His primary area of research and teaching is professional ethics in accounting. Within this broad domain, he has an interest and a track record of research on fraud, ethical behavior and ethics education. He is a member on several editorial boards, and he is presently Co-Editor of the Accounting Section for the highly regarded Journal of Business Ethics. He have published several articles in international peer reviewed journals, lead author of two textbooks, and content developer in professional development programs on ethics subject matter for professional accounting bodies.
Professor Sabri Boubaker
Sabri Boubaker is a professor of finance at EM Normandie Business School (Paris Campus). He serves on the editorial boards of several SSCI academic journals such as the Journal of International Financial Management & Accounting (Editor-in-Chief), Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions, and Money (Subject Editor), International Review of Economics and Finance (Associate Editor), and International Journal of Finance & Economics (Associate Editor). Sabri Boubaker has recently published many academic papers (more than 100 papers) in international refereed journals, including the Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of International Money and Finance, Financial Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Auditing: A Journal of Theory & Practice, and British Journal of Management. His research interests include corporate finance, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, capital budgeting, corporate investment, capital structure, and payout policy.
Professor Jason Zezhong Xiao
Professor Zezhong Xiao is the Head of the Department of Accounting and Information Management at the School of Business Administration, University of Macau. His research interests include Chinese accounting regulation, accounting information systems and corporate governance. His research results have been published in journals such as Accounting, Organizations and Society, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Economic Research, Management World and so on. He was the founding editor-in-chief of China Journal of Accounting Studies. And he is a Principal Fellow of Accounting Society of China.
MEETING WITH EDITORS
All invited journal Editor-in-Chief will be invited to speak at the seminar. Young lecturers and graduate students attending the conference are invited to attend a seminar on "How to publish papers in high-quality academic journals."
PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE AND DEADLINE
The conference only accepts English written papers. Authors are invited to submit a full paper to icafem@163.com by Sep 10, 2024. Papers will be selected for presentation at the conference by the conference committee and will be notified by Sep 20, 2024. The criteria for selecting papers for the program include the nature of the research topic, the economic implications of the research, and the academic quality of the research design. The number of papers that can be accommodated is limited, so please be sure to submit your paper early.
PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITY
Some selected papers will be published at British Accounting Review (BAR，SSCI)、Economic Modelling (EM，SSCI)、Finance Research Letters (FRL，SSCI)、Journal of Business Ethics (JBE，SSCI)、Journal of Corporate Finance (JCF，SSCI)、Journal of International Financial Management and Accounting (JIFMA，SSCI) 、International Review of Economics and Finance (IREF，SSCI)、International Review of Financial Analysis (IRFA，SSCI).
The articles submitted to this conference are deemed to have been submitted to BAR/EM/FRL/JBE /JCF/JIFMA/IREF/IRFA, with the consent of the author. If the author intends to publish the article in one of the above-mentioned journals, please pay attention to the deadline for submission. There is no guarantee that a paper will be published in the journal once it is accepted by this conference. To meet the quality requirements of the above-mentioned journals, all papers accepted by the conference must undergo standard review procedures. Presentation in the conference and Cross-reviewing of the papers is required for articles accepted by the conference.
After conference we will notify registered conference authors via email about submission procedures and deadlines.
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
