China Crossroads: Where Art Meets Science: The AI+Art Lab

文摘   2024-11-06 12:02   上海

The AI+Art Lab seeks to capture the "Cinderella Moment“ — where art and science intersect to reshape perceptions of data. By fostering collaboration between artists and researchers, the lab promotes critical, ethical, and creative thinking within AI, focusing on its social, cultural, and environmental impacts.

Through art-science partnerships, the lab encourages critical thinking, ethical reflection, diverse knowledge, change of perspective, and future-oriented visions. The AI+Art Lab operates through two main areas: Conversations, which facilitate dialogue between artists and scientists, and Projects, which focus on creating collaborative works. This structure aims to foster an inclusive, immersive experience that engages a broad audience on cognitive, emotional, and aesthetic levels.

Join us for the latest edition of China Crossroads featuring Adrian Notz, Curator and Lecturer at ETH Zurich. Adrian led the AI+Art Program at the ETH AI Center from 2021 to 2024, and he will share his insights into the AI+Art domain, as well as his experiences in curating this interdisciplinary program where art and science intersect.
This event is hosted by China Crossroads with the support and collaboration of Swissnex in China.
