目前担任浙江师范大学地理与环境学科学院院长等职务。

师从高从堦院士。研究领域涉及环境、化学和生物学方面,具有一定的跨学科背景。近年来主要研究兴趣为分离膜制备及水处理相关机理、环境污染物控制、模型计算、光/电催化、消毒副产物、高级氧化、厌氧氨氧化、颗粒污泥、藻菌体系、材料制备、工业废水处理、人工神经网络、遥感监测等。
