“巴勒斯坦电影日（Palestine Cinema Days）”是由“巴勒斯坦电影实验室（Filmlab Palestine）”于2014年发起并于每年10月举办的年度国际电影节活动，旨在于巴勒斯坦的不同城市推广巴勒斯坦电影和艺术文化。
过去几年里，“巴勒斯坦电影日”成功引起国际影界的注意，提高了与巴勒斯坦电影制片人合作的兴趣和对发展当地电影业的支持。“巴勒斯坦电影日”成为一个常规的国际电影节、并在每年的国际电影节中占有一席之地，对于促进巴勒斯坦旅游业、商业和文化传播至关重要，在巴勒斯坦经济因以色列的军事占领和种族隔离而恶化的当下尤为关键。
Palestine Cinema Days is an annual event organized by Filmlab every October, and aims at placing Palestine on the map of the International film industry and movie landscape, in addition to promoting local and international films across several venues in different cities within Palestine.
In the past years, Palestine Cinema Days succeeded in becoming a focal point for the international film scene, increasing the interest in cooperation with Palestinian filmmakers and support to develop the local film industry. This path has to continue and be reinforced to turn Palestine Cinema Days into a regular international film festival, and book its place in the annual international schedule since official film festivals have many benefits for the country that hosts them. Besides promoting tourism and local merchants benefits, a festival pushes the boundaries of the youth’s daily life and offers them new horizons.

This film tells the story of multiple journeys: the journey of loss as the director’s mother, Aida, struggled with losing herself to Alzheimer’s disease; the journey of the loss of a parent; and the ultimate return journey back to Yafa, where Aida was born and raised.
The film accompanies director Carol Mansour as she engineers a way to return her mother to Yafa in search of eternal rest and peace for her. A return aided by an unlikely set of friends and strangers all coming together to facilitate what should have been a simple journey. This film is a tribute to the lost past of the director’s family, an attempt to restore part of an individual and a collective memory, and a poetic nod and affirmation to all those exiled Palestinians forbidden from returning to their hometowns, even after death.

In his directorial debut, LITTLE PALESTINE, DIARY OF A SIEGE, filmmaker Abdallah Al-Khatib offers a glimpse into the daily life of the residents of Yarmouk, the largest Palestinian refugee camp in the world.
Home to thousands of Palestinians, Yarmouk was seized in 2015 by ISIS/Daesh in alliance with al-Nousra. Syrian government forces retaliated to the siege with indiscriminate shelling of the camp that provoked widespread outcry against the loss of civilian lives and the destruction of the refugee camp. Yarmouk was cut off from electricity, leaving Palestinian refugees in an even more vulnerable and embattled state.
With the help of his friends, Al-Khatib portrays the ordinary lives of Yarmouk’s residents in the years leading up to the siege, as they persevere with dignity, love and hope amid a never-ending state of war.
