Safety Reminder for Summer Holiday

放假前，请将一卡通存足够的钱。

Charge enough money in your E-CARD.

不要在房间内使用大功率电器，注意用水用电安全。

Do not use high-power electric in the room, and pay attention to water and electricity safety.

不酗酒，不留宿外人，杜绝发生群体哄闹。

Do not drink too much. Do not let other persons to live in your room. Do not make noise, play loud music or have group party in dorm.

维护公共厨房的清洁。请勿在厨房水槽内倾倒剩饭剩菜。炊具使用后请断电。

Keep the public kitchen clean. Do not throw leftovers into the sink in the public kitchen. Switch off the electricity of the burner or the microwave after using.

离开房间时请关好门窗，保管好贵重物品，做好防盗工作。

Please close the door and windows when you leave the room. Keep your valuables well to be against theft.

对于已经损坏不能正常落锁的门窗，请修复落锁后再离校，不要心存侥幸。

If there is something wrong with your door or windows, please leave school after they are fixed.

短期或长期旅游、访友期间，请切断水源电源，以安心度假。

When you travel, please cut off water and power in consideration of safety.

放假期间，严禁在校园内燃放烟花爆竹。

During the holiday, don’t set off firecrackers and fireworks on campus.

出外旅行或假期回国学生，宿舍内的贵重物品请随身携带。

Students who will go out for traveling or go back home during the holiday please take the valuables with you.

使用各种实验、健身设施时，规范操作，注意安全。

Operate equipments in lab and gym by standard. 

外出要遵守交通规则，注意乘车安全，出门前即预先记好路线及转车地点,并随身携带地图。拥挤的公交车上注意保管好财物，以防扒窃。

Observe traffic rules. You'd better plan the route and memorize the transfer sites, and have a map at hand. In crowded buses, please keep your valuables well to be against theft.

杜绝乘坐非法营运的黑车、私人包车。

Don’t take the illegally-operated car or chartered car when you go out for traveling.

在校园内骑车注意限速：机动车速度在主干道上应低于30公里/小时，在文达和文畅地下通道内低于20公里/小时。非机动车速度应低于15公里/小时。

Watch out for speed limits for vehicles on campus: when driving a motorized vehicle, it should be noted that the speed must be limited to 30 km/h on the main road and 20 km/h in Wenda and Wenchang underground tunnels. When driving a non-motorized vehicle, the speed must be limited to 15 km/h.

注意饮食卫生，不在剧烈运动后大量喝凉水，不要在不卫生的地方乱吃东西，不暴饮暴食。

Pay attention to the dietetic hygiene. Do not drink much cold water after exercises. Do not eat food in unclean shops or restaurants. Do not overeat.

尽量避免赴人群密集、敏感场所，确保人身及财产安全。如遭遇抢劫、侵害或发生意外事故，请及时向当地警方报案并与值班老师联系。与陌生人打交道时，要提高思想警惕，谨防上当受骗。

Do not go to crowded public place in consideration of personal and property security. If come across robbery or other accidents, please report to local police right away and contact school officer on duty. Be careful and prevent yourself from being deceived when strangers talk to you.

选择信誉好的旅行社，自助旅行最好结伴而行。避免携带大量现金在身上，旅行中，随身行李请勿离开自己的视线。    

Choose a good travel agency. When you choose to travel by yourself, you’d better ask friends to accompany you. Do not carry much cash with you. Keep your luggage in sight during traveling.

谨防各种通过网络、电话或短信等方式发布各种诈骗信息，如你已中奖；或你的家人或朋友遇到车祸，急需钱救命；或你的手机已欠费，并要求你通过银行卡付款，以骗取钱财。如遇类似情况，可直接拨打110或与该银行客服联系。 

Be aware of various kinds of fraud messages by means of internet, telephone or short messages to defraud your money, such as telling you that you win a prize, that you families or friends have an accident and need money to save life, or that your phone has owed, and ask you to pay the money through credit card. If you meet such things, please dial 110 directly or contact with the customer service of the bank.

留学生回国，最好结伴而行。若无同伴，在回国途中，一定要自警、自助、自我保护，说话办事要谨慎。遇到突发事件要冷静，应三思而后行，以自己的生命安全为重。

For students who are about to go back home, you'd better have friends accompany you. If you are going home alone, you should be self-alert, help yourself and protect yourself on the way. Be cautious when you talk and act. Think twice when facing with emergencies and put your life and safety at first place.

所有回国的留学生回国以后，请通过e-mail或微信与班主任取得联系，以便班主任知晓。

For all the students who go back to your home during the holiday, please contact with your class supervisor by e-mail or wechat when you reach home so that your class supervisor will know that you are safe.
