She was born on December 16, 1996, in Turkey, and has been involved in glass art for nearly 10 years. For her, working with glass is more than a passion; it is a form of expression. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at Anadolu University Faculty of Fine Arts and Institute in Eskişehir. In 2023, she earned her thesis-based master’s degree with the support of a university grant under a Scientific Research Project. After graduating, she participated in various national and international exhibitions and workshops. Most recently, in 2023, she had the opportunity to work with Emma Varga at the Glass Furnace in Istanbul, Turkey, through a scholarship. Additionally, her research on the color changes in glass was presented in posters at the 35th, 37th, and 38th Şişe Cam International Glass Conferences.

In her often sculpted forms, small heads, large hands, and feet are prominent features. This deliberate exaggeration is designed to create a visual contrast that challenges traditional perceptions of proportion and balance. By distorting these elements, the aim is to stimulate curiosity and encourage critical thinking in viewers. Large hands and feet symbolize action and balance, while a small head downplays traditional focus on intelligence or identity. This contrast invites viewers to consider the roles and importance of different body parts, challenging preconceived ideas and creating a deeper, more visceral connection to the artwork.

Recently, she has been using mirrors and aquarium sand as alternative materials to enhance the meaning of her works. The mirror allows viewers to see their own reflections, creating a personal connection with the work and perceiving themselves as part of the artwork. This deepens the meaning by focusing on themes of individual identity and self-awareness. On the other hand, the aquarium sand enriches the work both visually and tactilely by providing a natural texture and an unexpected use of materials. Working with these materials allows her to express her themes in a more powerful and multi-layered way, allowing viewers to interpret the content from different perspectives and make the message more effective.
