This Friday (Dec 20), the Comedy Citadel is bringing the festive spirit to life with a hilarious live version of Family Feud to celebrate the 冬至 (Dongzhi) Festival! Also known as the Winter Solstice, the Dongzhi Festival marks the longest night of the year and a time for family gatherings, feasting, and fun. What better way to celebrate than with an evening of laughter and friendly competition?

From left to right, guests will include A Fu, Luke Zou, Nico Toomuch and Cindy Hu

For those who may not be familiar, Family Feud is a classic American TV game show where two families compete against each other to answer the most popular survey questions. The answers come from a survey of 100 people, and teams must guess the top responses to win points. It’s a fast-paced, lighthearted game full of surprises, and this live comedy version promises to bring even more fun!

As well as guests (from left to right) Shuhao Fan, Jose Shen, Sugar, Amy Li and Donnie Fan among others

It will feature comedians from Comedy Citadel and other Beijing comedy communities, who will form four teams, or "families," and battle it out to answer survey questions – just like the TV show. However, there's a twist! YOU, the audience, will be the ones providing the answers! That means every response could turn into a hilarious surprise, and you’ll get a chance to directly influence the outcome of the game. The result will be a night packed with spontaneous humor, unexpected answers and lots of laughs.

Family Feud Dongzhi Edition will be taking place at Nanyang Hutong #6 on Fri, Dec 20, at 8pm. Tickets are RMB 98, including a drink, and can be bought by scanning the QR code on the poster above or add WeChat ID CHENGBAOXIJU. Once you've got your tickets, you'll be able to participate in the survey and influence the game!
