According to the "Measures for National Annual Festivals and Memorial Days Holidays" revised in November 2024, starting from January 1, 2025, the number of holidays for all citizens will increase by 2 days. Among them, the Spring Festival and Labor Day will each have an additional 1 - day holiday.
The specific arrangements for the holiday and compensatory leave dates of New Year's Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid - Autumn Festival, and National Day in 2025 are as follows:
New Year's Day: January 1st (Wednesday), 1 - day holiday, no compensatory leave.
Spring Festival: January 28th (Chinese New Year's Eve, Tuesday) to February 4th (the 7th day of the first lunar month, Tuesday), a total of 8 - day holiday with compensatory leave. Work on January 26th (Sunday) and February 8th (Saturday).
Qingming Festival: April 4th (Friday) to 6th (Sunday), a total of 3 - day holiday.
