NPD究竟是什么意思
NPD是“Narcissistic Personality Disorder”的缩写，中文翻译为“自恋型人格障碍”。
自恋型人格障碍是一种心理疾病，患者通常表现出过度自恋、自我中心、需要别人关注和赞美等特征。
“Narcissistic”这个词源自希腊神话中的美少年纳西索斯（Narcissus）。

传说中，纳西索斯长得非常俊美，他拒绝了众多追求者的爱慕。有一天，他在湖边看到了自己的倒影，便深深爱上了自己。他日夜对着湖水，无法自拔，最终憔悴而死，化为了一朵水仙花。
因此，“narcissistic”这个词就用来形容那些过度自恋，爱慕自己的人，翻译成中文就是“自恋的；自我陶醉的”。名词形式则是narcissism，意思是“自恋”。

The term “narcissism” was coined in 1899 by Havelock Ellis, a British essayist and physician, during his studies of sexual perversions. He used it to describe an excessive erotic interest in one’s own body, drawing directly from Narcissus Greek mythology. “自恋（narcissism）”一词最早由英国散文家兼医生哈夫洛克·霭理士于1899年在他对性变态的研究中创造的。他用这个词来描述对自身身体的过度性欲，直接借鉴了希腊神话中的纳西索斯（Narcissus）。Sigmund Freud later expanded the term’s meaning, using it to describe a psychological condition marked by self-centeredness and a lack of empathy. 后来西格蒙德·弗洛伊德扩大了这个词的含义，用它来描述一种以自我为中心、缺乏同理心的心理状态。Over time, “narcissism” entered everyday language, evolving from a clinical term to a broader description of excessive self-admiration.
随着时间的推移，“自恋”一词进入了日常用语，从一个临床术语演变为对过度自我欣赏的更广泛描述。1.Have an unreasonably high sense of self-importance and require constant, excessive admiration.2.Feel that they deserve privileges and special treatment.3.Expect to be recognized as superior even without achievements.4.Make achievements and talents seem bigger than they are.5.Be preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate.6.Believe they are superior to others and can only spend time with or be understood by equally special people.相信自己比别人更优秀，只能与同样杰出的人交往或被他们理解。7.Be critical of and look down on people they feel are not important.8.Expect special favors and expect other people to do what they want without questioning them.期待特殊优待，期待别人无条件地按照自己的意愿行事。9.Take advantage of others to get what they want.![]()
