“你下班了吗”有几种常用的英语表达：
Are you off work?
When are you getting off ?
Did you finish your work?
例：
A: Hi, Lisa. Are you off work?
嗨，丽莎。你现在下班了吗？
B: Yes. It has been a long day.
是的。这真是漫长的一天。
除了上面三种
“下班”还有其它表达方式：

knock off (work)
例：
The boss wants me to do，
some extra work,
so I will have to knock off late.
老板让我做点额外的工作，
我得晚点下班了。
②
call it a day
这句话使用的频率也很高，
只要想表达活动告一个段落，
或是建议共事者该结束一天，
的工作回去休息了都适用。
例：
I've had it. Let's call it a day.
我受不了了。还是先下班吧。

leave the office
例：
I'm still at work. I'll call you as ，
soon as I leave the office.
我还在上班，
一下班就打电话给你。
当想约的小伙伴还在上班，
你可以问对方“什么时候下班”

或
What time do you finish work?

日常工作的一部分；不足为奇
例：
Don't worry about it.
It's all in a day's work.
别担心。这不足为奇。

Work your fingers to the bone
（尤指长期）辛苦劳作；拼命工作
从手指到骨节都在工作，
表达“非常努力工作”的意思
例：
I worked my fingers to the bone，
to give my children a good life.
为了给我的孩子们一个好的生活，
我非常努力地工作！

make short work of sth
快速完成；快速解决
例：
I made short work of the assignment.
我迅速完成了任务。

work out for the best
变好，好转
例：
You can count on me.
Everything will work out for the best.
你可以相信我。
一切都会好转的。

grunt work
繁重的劳动；枯燥乏味的工作
例：
As an apprentice,
you start out doing a lot of the grunt work.
