2024年11月22日下午，北京科学中心与拉脱维亚儿童科学中心进行线上座谈。此次会议邀请了拉脱维亚儿童科学中心负责人Reinis Balodis，以及北京科学中心相关业务部门的代表共同参与。本次会议旨在与拉脱维亚儿童科学中心交流科普场馆的工作经验，建立互通互联的良好关系。
On the afternoon of November 22, 2024, an online discussion was held between Beijing Science Center and Children’s Science Centre "Tehnoannas pagrabi". The meeting invited Reinis Balodis, head of the Children’s Science Centre "Tehnoannas pagrabi", along with representatives from relevant departments of Beijing Science Center to participate. The purpose of this online discussion was to exchange the working experiences of science popularization venues with Children’s Science Centre "Tehnoannas pagrabi", and establish a good relationship of mutual communication and connection.
会上，Reinis Balodis介绍了拉脱维亚儿童科学中心的整体情况和亮点工作，包括拉脱维亚儿童科学中心的发展历程、参观模式、人员构成和展项设置情况等。随后，北京科学中心相关负责人员对北京科学中心的基本情况进行了详细介绍，包括展览展示、科学教育、品牌活动、国际交流及媒体传播等方面的情况。
At the meeting, Reinis Balodis presented an overview and introduced the highlights of the Children’s Science Centre "Tehnoannas pagrabi", including its development history, visiting patterns, personnel composition, as well as exhibition settings. Following that, relevant personnel from Beijing Science Center presented a detailed overview of Beijing Science Center, covering its exhibition and display, science education, brand activities, international exchanges, and media communication, etc.
Furthermore, both sides conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on issues related to the design of exhibits, science education, and international project cooperation experiences. Beijing Science Center extended a sincere invitation to Reinis Balodis, inviting Latvian teachers and students to participate in the 2025 Beijing Youth Science Creation Competition. Reinis Balodis highly recognized the various endeavors undertaken by Beijing Science Center, expressing his willingness to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Center and jointly promote the interconnection of science popularization resources.
