在2024年9月30日举行的年度换届会议上，哈佛医学院华人专家学者联合会（Chinese Scientists and Scholars Association at Harvard Medical School，HMS-CSSA）选出了2024-2025年度执行委员会，会议选举Sirui Zhang博士为会长，Zhouping Hong博士为共同会长。随后新一届执行委员会召开了第一次全体成员会议，并合影留念。
2024-2025 HMS-CSSA Members
We are very pleased to announce the new leadership of Chinese Scientists and Scholars Association at Harvard Medical School (HMS-CSSA) members for the 2024-2025 team. Dr. Sirui Zhang was elected as President, Dr. Zhouping Hong was elected as Co-President.
As a volunteer-based, non-profit, non-political organization, HMS-CSSA has been focusing on providing a platform for networking, collaboration, and career development among Chinese researchers at Harvard Medical School and its affiliated hospitals and institutes, hence serves as a bridge for scientific communication between China and the US.
In the past year, we have organized over 40 events including the Harvard Chinese Life Science Annual Symposium, Frontier Symposiums, Distinguished Scholar Clubs, Lightning talks, Deans’ Forums, K99/R00 and faculty career development seminars, workshops, and various social events. Currently, our official Wechat account has over 12,000 followers. As our biggest event, 2024 Harvard Chinese Life Science Annual Symposium invited 10 outstanding professors as speakers to share their recent most exciting works to our community. The symposium has attracted hundreds of students, young scientists, and faculties to participate and communicate.
We sincerely thank Dr. Weimin Tang, Dr. Li Xu and all the past members for their dedication and contribution to HMS-CSSA. We also thank our advisors, sponsors and all the Chinese scientists who gave tremendous support and help to HMS-CSSA. With new members on board now, HMS-CSSA will continue to serve the Chinese research community at Harvard Medical School and organize more events in the coming year. Please continue supporting HMS-CSSA and make our community better!
