With the arrival of good weather in Shanghai, most of us had our first day back to work. On the cover of a record in the shop, a brother left a tip: ‘Play it after eight o‘clock, it works wonders’. It’s the 1962 album released by vibraphonist Dave Pike‘s quartet with Herbie Lewis, Walter Perkins and Bill Evans. 曾经有一位哥很爱把一张自己喜欢的专辑在水果店循环播放一整个星期，这样任性的行为引发了众人质疑。而今天他依旧坚持一直在店内循环播放自己很喜欢的一张来自底特律音乐人 Larry Nozero 的专辑《Time》，这是 Strata Inc 于 1975 年发行的最后一张专辑，由180 Proof Records 和 BBE Music 进行再版发行。专辑整体给人梦幻的感觉，并且充满了深沉、温暖和一丝忧郁。在专辑的封套中，Nozero 本人说道：“决定使用TIME这个概念来命名是因为这四个字母对几乎每个人都有意义。” 不妨让我们慢下来，借用您耳朵10分钟，去聆听、探索这四个字母对于我们自己的意义。

Once upon a time, there was a man who loved to play his favourite album on a loop in the shop for a whole week, an act that raised a lot of questions. Today, he continues to play his favourite album from Detroit musician Larry Nozero on a loop, Time, the last album released by Strata Inc. in 1975 and reissued by 180 Proof Records and BBE Music. The album as a whole has a dreamy feel to it and is full of depth, warmth and a hint of melancholy. In the album sleeve, Nozero says, ‘The decision to use the concept of TIME for the title was made because those four letters mean something to almost everyone.’ Let‘s slow down and lend our ears for 10 minutes to hear and explore what these four letters mean to us.
