水凝胶是一种高度水合的材料,其结构类似于细胞外基质,具有可调节的机械性能,并可作为功能化的通用平台,用于伤口敷料以防止感染和液体流失。然而,其固有的水分蒸发问题在实际应用中影响了其存储稳定性和使用寿命。深共析溶剂(DESs)是一种环保型溶剂,具有低蒸汽压、导电性好、可降解、不燃和价格适中的特点。采用DES作为溶剂的共析凝胶不仅保留了水凝胶系统的机械强度和功能性,还克服了传统水凝胶中水分蒸发的限制,为更个性化和有效的伤口管理策略提供了有前途的方向和材料框架。
近日,四川大学李建树教授和徐心源副研究员等人在Science China Materials发表研究论文,成功合成了一种新型三元深共析溶剂,由甘油、氯化锌和氯化胆碱组成,并引入聚合反应性双键,制备了一种环保抗菌的绿色共析凝胶。
本文要点
1) 这种凝胶具有高机械强度、广泛的粘附能力、持久的杀菌活性、优异的传感性能和良好的生物相容性等独特特性。2) 进一步对该凝胶作为伤口敷料的应用进行了探索,研究结果表明,这种共析凝胶具有加速伤口愈合和防止细菌在伤口部位定植的能力。这些发现为下一代智能伤口敷料的开发提供了坚实的理论基础和有前景的材料平台。Figure 1.
