Student Voices英文演讲比赛是由新民晚报社区版《虎妈牛娃》，Shanghai Family，Parents & Kids联合举办的年度赛事，于2020年夏季启动，分为海选、复赛、决赛三个阶段。迄今已经成功举办了五届，2025年将迎来第六届赛事。
2024 Student Voices 英文演讲比赛，全国共计43所学校参加，近1000份投稿，参赛选手来自14个国家或地区。2024年演讲比赛，更是迎来了马来西亚的两组团队赛选手!

2025年 Student Voices 英文演讲比赛
2025年Student Voices 英文演讲比赛的主题是“Green Walks, Future Talks | 绿行城市，共话未来”。
“Green Walks” 鼓励参赛者放下电子屏幕，走进绿色的自然景观，探索我们周围世界的美丽。我们希望学生们发现健康绿色生活方式的重要性。
“Future Talks” 则是将这些经历转化为关于我们还能做些什么的有意义的讨论。除了分享对城市中已有的创新解决方案的观察之外，还要求参赛者们思考未来城市可持续发展的方式。
我们诚挚邀请全国各位国际学校，双语学校，公立学校，民办学校的学生，参与本次赛事，培养孩子们成为未来社会的可持续发展领导者。

参赛对象
适合6-18岁的学生，大赛分为三个年龄组：6-10岁、11-14岁、15-18岁。

6-10岁组
“ I’m Eco Detective, I discover...
城市探索者——环保小侦探”
孩子们被赋予成为环保小侦探，你们的任务是探索城市中环保和不够环保的地方，通过照片、手绘插图等方式，展示他们发现的环保亮点以及可以改进的地方。
11-14岁组
“I’m Green Guardian, I investigate...
城市守护者——绿色调查员”
通过City Walk，探讨城市中的绿色设施或绿色建筑，分析其设计理念、环保意义和实际作用，了解它们对环境和社区的影响。
15-18岁组
“I’m Sustainability Leader, I envision...
城市先行者——生态引路人”
通过City Walk，研究和分析城市的绿色发展轨迹，并提出对未来城市绿色发展的畅想和建议。
参赛要求
1.脱稿演讲。
2.可借助PPT、模型、日志、视频等其它辅助形式。
3.大赛设置个人赛和团队赛两个赛道，其中团队赛团队人数3-4人。
*如有PPT展示，个人赛不得超过8页，团队赛不得超过20页，单页上文字不得超过100字。

从即日起至2025年3月30日，接收演讲视频投稿。

1.全英文演讲。
2.个人赛时长约3分钟以内；团队赛时长约6分钟以内。
3.MP4/MOV/AVI等常见格式视频均可。
温馨提示
1. 对于选取城市，我们不做限制，我们非常欢迎学生们拓宽思路，如上海学生可展示在外地/出国旅行时的作品，以增加比赛的多样性和创新性。
2.报名个人赛的成员也可兼报团体赛，两者并不冲突，演讲主题与个人赛三个年龄组别一致。
3. 我们鼓励更多的学生参与团体赛，也希望更多的老师参与到团体赛指导过程中，不论是老师还是团队成员，都更有机会冲击最佳团队大奖！
与以往不同的是，为了让“绿行城市”这一主题的展现形式更为丰富，2025年 Student Voices 英文演讲比赛还特设了视频赛道。我们正在寻找小小城市探险家们，用镜头记录下你们对家乡城市的热爱！

绿色出行，城市漫步（Citywalk）
内容要求
1.绿色出行：
展示你如何通过步行、骑行或乘坐公共交通工具，探索你的城市。
2.城市介绍
选择你最喜欢的一条街道或一个景点，边走边介绍它的历史、文化和特色。
3.城市观察
分享你对这座城市的观察，包括环境、建筑、人文等方面的变迁和发展。
4.城市热爱
用你的视角和故事，表达你对这座城市的热爱和情感。
视频要求
视频长度：1-3分钟
视频格式：MP4/MOV/AVI等常见格式视频均可
视频分辨率：1080p或更高

The Student Voices English Speech Competition is jointly organized by Shanghai Family, Parents & Kids and HuMaNiuWa of Shanghai United Media Group. It was launched in the summer of 2020 and is structured into three phases: preliminary selections, semifinals, and finals. To date, the contest has successfully held five editions, and the sixth edition will take place in 2025.
A total of 43 schools nationwide participated in the 2024 Student Voices English Speech Competition, with nearly 1000 entries received. Participants in the competition came from 14 countries and regions. The 2024 speech competition even welcomed two team contestants from Malaysia!
PETRONAS China, our official partner of the 2025 Student Voices, is a progressive energy and solutions partner committed to exploring new energy sources. ln 2025, Student Voices will partner with PETRONAS to encourage children to inspire their imagination for a green future, and cultivate them to become sustainable development leaders in future society.
Student Voices has contributed to its attainment of multiple honors. In 2022, it was awarded the Gold Award for Corporate Social Responsibility at the Golden Flag Awards. In 2024, it once again received the Gold Award for Corporate Social Responsibility from the China International Public Relations Association.

2025 Student Voices English Speech Contest
The theme for the 2025 Student Voices English Speech Competition is "Green Walks, Future Talks | 绿行城市，共话未来".
"Green Walks" encourages participants to step away from their screens and step into green sceneries to explore the beauty of the world around us. By taking a city walk and observing city development, students will rediscover the importance of a healthy and green lifestyle and uncover the inspiring stories of sustainable transformation.
"Future Talks" is where these experiences evolve into meaningful conversations about what we can do more. Beyond sharing observations of innovative solutions that already exist in the city, Future Talks challenges participants to think for the future, and form aspirations for a sustainable lifestyle.
We sincerely invite students from international schools, bilingual schools, public schools, and private schools across the country to participate in the 2025 Student Voices English Speech Contest. We encourage children to become sustainable development leaders in future society.
The 2025 Student Voices English Speech Contest features both individual and team competition tracks.

“Green Walks, Future Talks
绿行城市，共话未来”
Contestants
Suitable for students aged 6-18, the competition is divided into three age groups: 6-10 years, 11-14 years, and 15-18 years.
Speech Topics
6-10 years old group
“ I’m Eco Detective, I discover...”
Children are empowered to become little eco-detectives, tasked with exploring both the environmentally friendly and less eco-friendly aspects of their city. Through photographs, hand-drawn illustrations, and other ways, they will showcase the eco-highlights they discover as well as areas where improvements can be made.
11-14 years old group
“I’m Green Guardian, I investigate...”
During the City Walk, participants will explore green facilities and eco-friendly buildings within the city, delving into their design concepts, environmental significance, and practical functions. Through this exploration, they will gain insights into the impacts these structures have on both the environment and the community.
15-18 years old group
“I’m Sustainability Leader, I envision... ”
Through the City Walk, participants will study and analyze the trajectory of green development in the city, and subsequently propose visions and suggestions for the future green development of urban areas.
Entry Requirements
1.Presentations should be delivered from memory (without reading from a script).
2.Additional auxiliary forms such as PPTs, models, logs, videos, and other supportive materials can be used.
3.The 2025 Student Voices English Speech Contest features both individual and team competition tracks. The team competition consists of 3 to 4 members.
*For PPT presentations, individual contestants are limited to no more than 8 pages, and team contestants to no more than 20 pages, with no more than 100 words per page.

Video Requirements
-English Speech.
-Speech Duration: Individuals about 3 minutes. Team Group about 6 minutes.
-Submission form: video (MP4/MOV/AVI and other common formats).
Note
1.Regarding the selection of cities, we have no restrictions. We highly welcome students to broaden their thinking. For example, students in Shanghai can showcase works from their travels in other places or abroad, in order to increase the diversity and innovation of the competition.
2.Participants registered for the individual competition may also register for the team competition. There is no conflict between the two, and the speech topics should be consistent with the three age groups for the individual competition.
3. We encourage more students to participate in the team competition and also hope that more teachers will get involved in guiding the teams. Both teachers and team members have a greater opportunity to win the Best Team Award!
Unlike previous years, the 2025 Student Voices English Speech Contest has also specially introduced a video category. We are searching for little urban explorers to capture your love for your hometown city through the lens!

Green Travel, City Walk
Content Requirements
1.Green Travel: Demonstrate how you explore your city by walking, cycling, or using public transportation.
2.City Introduction: Choose your favorite street or attraction and introduce its history, culture, and unique features as you walk along.
3.City Observation: Share your observations of the city, including changes and developments in the environment, architecture, and humanity.
4.City Love: Express your love and affection for the city through your perspective and stories.
Video Requirements
Video Length: 1-3 minutes
Video Format: Common formats such as MP4/MOV/AVI are acceptable
Video Resolution: 1080p or higher

Award Settings
From January 2025 onwards, two best videos (Best Video Award | Most Popular Award) will be selected monthly based on evaluations by the judging panel and the number of likes and shares on social media.
Winners will have the opportunity to receive random room vouchers and dining vouchers sponsored by a luxury hotel, with monthly announcements on HUMANIUWA & Shanghai Family WeChat publication!

The recently concluded 2024 Student Voices English Speech Competition received nearly 1000 preliminary round video submissions from approximately 43 schools. Contestants from schools both inside and outside Shanghai participated in the competition through online and offline methods respectively.
