过去进行时
知识点讲解
1. 定义：表示过去在某一时间段或某一段时间内正在发生或进行的动作或状态。
2. 谓语形式及意思：was/ were doing sth当时正在做某事
3. 时间状语：(1). At that moment/time, at +过去的时刻
(2). when 和while 引导的时间状语从句
4. 基本用法：
（1）给定一个过去具体的时间点
如： at9:00 last night, it was ten o’clock in the morning等。
例题：
A. It was six o’clock in the morning, and my grandmotherexercise in the park.
A. is doing B. does C. did D. was doing
B. ---I called you at 9:00 last night, but nobody answered the phone. ----Oh, my family in the garden.
A. is having a party B. are having a party C. was having a party D. were having a party
(2) 从长while/when,从短when.
正在做某事(was/were doing)长动作，某事发生(did)短动作。
(3)主从都长用while.
两个长动作同时进行，用while。
5. 动词现在分词的规则变化
（1）一般情况下，在动词原形后面加ing
如：play-playing, look-looking
（2）以不发音字母e结尾的（前有元音，e不发音），去掉e，加ing
如：take-taking,, make-making, write-writing
（3）重读闭音节(保闭)结尾（辅元辅结构），双写最后一个字母，加ing
如：run-running, swim-swimming, get-getting, sit-sitting, stop-stopping, shop-shopping
（4）以ie结尾的动词，变ie为y加ing
如：lie-lying die-dying tie-tying
6. 句型转换

一般疑问句及回答 | Was she reading books? Yes, she was/ No she wasn’t. | Were you watching TV? Yes, we were /No we were not. |
特殊疑问句及回答 | What was she doing? She was reading books. | What were you doing? We were watching TV. |
肯定句：主语+was /were +doing +其他
否定句：主语+was +not /were +not +doing +其他
一般疑问句：Was / Were +主语+doing +其他
肯定回答：Yes,主语 +was/were
否定回答：No, 主语+was +not /were +not
特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词+一般疑问句
回答：根据客观事实写完整的句子（不能用yes/no来回答）
