Integrating aesthetics alongside technology and functionality, the London Architectural Design of the Year recognises designs that are able to achieve notable breakthroughs.The London Awards focuses on unique components and elements of a structure, searching for designers who create living spaces that conform to overall livability of mankind.

伦敦年度建筑设计奖旨在表彰那些在美学、技术和功能上实现显著突破的设计作品。伦敦设计奖关注建筑结构中独特的构成与元素，寻找能够创造出符合人类整体宜居性的生活空间的设计师。

VICUTU HEADQUARTERS LIGHTING RENOVATION

VICUTU is a leading men’s clothing brand in China, with its headquarters located in Beijing. The building serves multiple functions, including clothing design, marketing, and administrative offices. Prior to the lighting renovation, we consulted with the client, who identified several reasons for updating the lighting:

- Existing fixtures were outdated and damaged, providing inadequate nighttime illumination.

- Current architectural lighting failed to convey the corporate identity of a headquarters.

- The absence of lighting modes—such as guest reception, regular operations, and late-night office modes—limited functionality, unable to meet daily operational and visitor needs.

- Both building and garden lighting were insufficient for nighttime requirements.

VICUTU总部照明改造

VICUTU是中国有影响力的男装品牌之一，其总部位于北京。这座办公大楼集服装设计、营销和行政办公等多功能于一体。照明改造前，我们与业主进行了沟通，业主提出了几个改造的原因：

-现有灯具陈旧、损坏，夜间效果不佳；

-现有建筑照明未能展现出总部的企业形象；

-缺少场景模式，如接待访客模式、正常模式、深夜办公模式，无法满足企业日常办公和接待需求；

-建筑和花园照明亮度不足，不能满足夜间功能性照明需求。

Following the renovation, the client’s goal was to reflect a corporate culture that is stylish but not unconventional, high-quality, elegant yet understated, layered, refined, and equipped with versatile scene modes that are both efficient and energy-saving. As a building dedicated to fashion design, it needed to project an innovative and technological image.

During the day, the building features a glass curtain wall, while at night, the client wished to reveal internal features not visible during daylight hours—such as the honeycomb-shaped atrium, the staircase linking the floors, and internal sculpture displays.

The renovation involved extensive lighting trials, with some conducted inside the office to evaluate the effects. This project differed from typical new-build lighting designs as it required continuous client feedback. Through many consultations and evaluations, we ultimately achieved a nighttime lighting effect for the headquarters that met and exceeded the client’s expectations.

改造后，业主希望能够传达一种时尚但不过于另类、高品质、优雅而不过分张扬的企业文化，富有层次感、精致、多场景模式、高效且节能。作为一座时尚设计大楼，它应具备创新性和科技感。

白天，建筑通过玻璃幕墙呈现，而夜晚业主希望利用灯光展现白天未能体现的内部空间，包括蜂窝状中庭、一层到顶层的步梯以及内部雕塑展示等。

在改造过程中，我们进行了大量的照明实验，其中一些是在办公楼内部进行效果评估的。与新建项目的照明设计不同，此次设计过程始终围绕与业主的沟通交流。经过多次沟通和效果评估，我们最终为客户呈现了一个非常满意的总部大楼夜间效果。
