Does Blackpink's Lisa have a new side hustle? Some netizens are asking this after watching a viral TikTok video featuring a Lisa look-alike selling fried chicken cutlets in Thailand.
Seventeen-year-old Kulthida, known as Yeehwa, first garnered attention when a food blogger posted videos and pictures of her at her mother's stall in Wat Asokaram market, Samut Prakan, near Bangkok, on June 23. The resemblance between Yeehwa and the popular K-pop star Lisa is uncanny, with her large eyes and straight bangs.
One of the videos received over a million views on TikTok, while others garnered around 780,000 views. Netizens were quick to comment on Yeehwa's striking similarity to Lisa. "If I didn't take a closer look, I would've thought Lisa has a new side hustle," one netizen remarked. Others suggested that Yeehwa "can debut as an artist now" and predicted that "she will be famous."
Yeehwa's newfound fame has also attracted attention from content creators. A famous Thai make-up artist and cosmetics brand owner collaborated with Yeehwa to transform her to look like Lisa in her latest "Rockstar" music video.
Despite her online fame, Yeehwa remains grounded. She has returned to Phichit, a province in northern Thailand, where she is studying. According to her mother, Yeehwa only visits Samut Prakan and helps out at the stall during school holidays.
In an interview with the Bangkok Post, Yeehwa shared her mixed feelings about the sudden attention. She admitted feeling a little embarrassed but also "happy and excited to resemble an admired singer like Lisa."
