前/言
为进一步加强新时代廉洁文化建设，深入推进党纪学习教育入脑入心，2024年9月，外国语学院联合“经典译站”学习社举办的译廉史•聚廉心——“双语话红廉”演讲比赛圆满结束。
活动通过双语演讲的形式，将加强廉洁文化建设融入专业和实践，培养新时代大学生外语学科核心素养，在生动展示革命先辈勤廉史迹的基础上，传承并发扬党的光荣传统和优良作风，以红色文化涵养新时代廉洁建设，用外语讲好身边的“红廉故事”，传承“红廉精神”。

Faced with severe natural disasters and economic hardships, Comrade Jiao dedicated himself to improving the living conditions of the people.

Comrade Jiao, a legendary figure in China's history, embodied the spirit of integrity in his daily life and work. He served as the Party secretary of Lankao County in Henan Province during the difficult period of the 1960s. Faced with severe natural disasters and economic hardships, Comrade Jiao dedicated himself to improving the living conditions of the people.
Despite the challenges, Comrade Jiao refused to take advantage of his position for personal gain. He lived a modest and frugal life, often eating only simple meals and wearing worn-out clothes. He refused gifts and bribes, maintaining a clear conscience and unwavering commitment to the people.

演讲者介绍
孙翊灵，中共预备党员，外国语学院21级英语师范专业本科生，曾任外国语学院新闻中心新媒体部部长，曾获校二、三级奖学金，校优秀学生干部，“LSCAT”杯翻译大赛校赛（英译汉）三等奖。
