Welcome to Week #4, #5 of the OCG 2024.10 format.
This report tabulates 219 top-performing decks from 40 tournaments that were held in Japan, China Mainland, South Korea and Vietnam during 26 October – 3 November 2024.

Ryzeal
Supreme Darkness gave Ryzeal a new support card in the form of Twins of the Eclipse.
One of the fundamental ways that Ryzeal plays around removal such as Book of Eclipse, Change of Heart is via Ryzeal Plug-In. When the opponent plays Book of Eclipse, the Ryzeal player could respond by chaining with Ryzeal Deadnader ② effect to destroy itself. Then Ryzeal Plug-In is activated to Special Summon Ryzeal Deadnader from the graveyard and attach 1 “Ryzeal” card from your deck to it as Xyz Material, and Ryzeal Deadnader ① effect would attach 1 monster from graveyard to it as Xyz Material. At the end is a Ryzeal Deadnader with 2 Xyz Materials.
Twins of the Eclipse plays a similar function as Ryzeal Plug-In by using Ryzeal Deadnader ① effect to attach Twins of the Eclipse from graveyard as Xyz Material. Then when Ryzeal Deadnader is sent to the graveyard together with Twins of the Eclipse, Twins of the Eclipse ② effect would trigger to Special Summon Ryzeal Deadnader from the graveyard and attach Ryzeal Duodrive as Xyz Material. Ryzeal Deadnader ① effect would attach 1 monster from graveyard to it as Xyz Material. At the end is a Ryzeal Deadnader with 2 Xyz Materials.
Hagetaka (禿鷹) went 7-1 and finished 1st in “34th Lotus Cup 3v3 Team Tournament” which had 40 teams (120 participants).
雷兹尔
极暗之力为雷兹尔提供了一张新的支援卡「日蚀双子」。
雷兹尔通过「雷兹尔插件」可以有效应对解场卡如「日蚀之书」、「心灵转换」等。当对手使用「日蚀之书」时，雷兹尔玩家可以响应「雷兹尔死咏」②效果自毁，然后激活「雷兹尔插件」从墓地特召「雷兹尔死咏」，并从卡组中附加1张“雷兹尔”卡作为超量素材，接着「雷兹尔死咏」①效果会将1只墓地的怪兽作为超量素材附加上去。最后「雷兹尔死咏」将带有2个超量素材。
「日蚀双子」也起到了类似于「雷兹尔插件」的作用，通过「雷兹尔死咏」①效果将「日蚀双子」从墓地作为超量素材附加。然后，当「雷兹尔死咏」和「日蚀双子」一起被送入墓地时，「日蚀双子」②效果会触发，从墓地特召「雷兹尔死咏」并附加「雷兹尔双驱」作为超量素材。「雷兹尔死咏」①效果会将1只墓地的怪兽作为超量素材附加上去。最终形成一个带有2个超量素材的「雷兹尔死咏」。

Maliss
Supreme Darkness gave Maliss a new support card in the form of Template Skipper.
Template Skipper is an extender, it could be Special Summoned from hand to your zone a Cyberse Link Monster points to.
Template Skipper ② effect could banish 1 Cyberse monster from your hand or GY, and if you do, this card can be treated as Link Material with the same name as the banished monster if used for a Link Summon this turn. This effect is beneficial for banishing Maliss monster to and in turn the Maliss monster could trigger their effect to Special Summon themselves from banished. Gaining the Maliss name is also allows it to be used as Link Material to Link Summon the Maliss Link Monsters.
Toufuya (とーふや) went 8-1 and finished 1st in “2nd Kamatama CS Individual Tournament” which had 62 participants.
玛丽丝
极暗之力为玛丽丝提供了一个新的支援卡「模板跳跃者」。
「模板跳跃者」作为延伸卡，可以在手牌中特殊召唤到一个指向它的赛博斯连接怪兽的区域。「模板跳跃者」②效果可以从手牌或墓地除外1只赛博斯怪兽，使其在本回合用于连接召唤时可以被视为与被除外怪兽相同的名字。这一效果能让玛丽丝怪兽的效果触发，从而自除外区特召自己。获得玛丽丝名称也允许其作为玛丽丝连接怪兽的连接素材。
Toufuya（とーふや）在62人参加的“第2届Kamatama CS个人赛”中以8-1战绩获得第1名。
Voiceless Voice
Many Voiceless Voice builds are now running the Nadir package alongside the standard Diviner package. When going first Nadir Servant could be used to send Herald of the Arc Light, whose effect could add a Ritual Monster or Ritual Spell from deck to hand. When going second, Nadir Servant could be used to send Elder Entity N’tss from Extra Deck to graveyard, to destroy 1 card on the field, or send Golden Cloud Beast – Malong from Extra Deck to graveyard, to return 1 face-up opponent’s monster to hand.
Running the Ryzeal package in Voiceless Voice is not as common, but is trending enough to keep a look out for. Similar to the Nadir package, the Ryzeal package is useful going first or second. When going first, the Ryzeal package could set up Ryzeal Deadnader as an additional threat alongside Skull Guardian, Protector of the Voiceless Voice. When going second, the Ryzeal package could be used as a board breaker by using Ex Ryzeal to send Mereologic Aggregator from Extra Deck to graveyard, whose effect would then negate a card on the field.
Nadir Servant, Ex Ryzeal and Thode Ryzeal comes with drawbacks that restrict Special Summoning from the Extra Deck, but Voiceless Voice is a Ritual deck and could play without Special Summoning from the Extra Deck. Voiceless Voice and Ryzeal are not intrinsically related and do not bridge into each other, but they lessen the impact of the opponent’s Dimensional Barrier as declaring Ritual would still allow the Ryzeal portion to play. There is also a small synergistic interaction whereby Barrier of the Voiceless Voice ① effect makes your opponent cannot target LIGHT monsters you control with card effects, and that includes Ryzeal Deadnader which is a LIGHT Xyz Monster.
Yue Shang Dang Nian Lou (月上当年楼) went 7-2-1 and finished 9 – 16th in “China City Tournament 2024 Dalian” which had 427 participants.
肃声
许多肃声构筑现在都加入了「圣像使」系列卡牌，搭配「占卜师」系列。先攻时，可以用「圣像仆从」送「光之圣灵使者」到墓地，以其效果从卡组中加入一张仪式怪兽或仪式魔法。后攻时，「圣像仆从」可以送「上级实体N’tss」到墓地，以其效果破坏场上一张卡牌，或者送「黄金云兽-马隆」到墓地，以其效果将对手场上一张正面表示的怪兽返回手牌。
肃声中使用雷兹尔组件的情况较少，但目前其趋势逐渐上升。先攻时，雷兹尔组件可以设置「雷兹尔死咏」作为肃声守护者的威胁。后攻时，雷兹尔组件可以通过「Ex 雷兹尔」将「逻辑集合体」从额外卡组送入墓地，以其效果无效场上一张卡牌的效果。
肃声和雷兹尔没有内在关联，但它们可以缓解对手使用「次元障壁」的影响，因为即使指定“仪式”也允许雷兹尔部分进行游戏。「肃声屏障」①效果还使对手无法用效果指定你控制的光属性怪兽，这也包括「雷兹尔死咏」作为一个光属性超量怪兽。
Yue Shang Dang Nian Lou（月上当年楼）在427人参加的“中国城市赛2024 大连”中以7-2-1战绩获得第9-16名。
Conclusion
Supreme Darkness has very little impact on the OCG metagame. The top 2 decks Ryzeal and Maliss received minor boost to their strategies.
A-Bao A Qu, the Lightless Shadow is another notable card from Supreme Darkness, but currently lacks a powerful Fiend deck to bring out its full potential.
Kobanawa Tasuku “たすく” (3 – 4th in Master Duel World Championship 2023, 3 – 4th in Master Duel World Championship 2024) formed an all-star team with Tanaka Masato “シーアーチャー” (3 – 4th in Master Duel World Championship 2023) and Kondo Yuto “ガラム” (3 – 4th in OCG/TCG World Championship 2024) for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Area Championship 2024 Tokyo. Together they surprised the competition with their unique Fiendsmith Goblin Biker deck that utilized A-Bao A Qu, the Lightless Shadow. However, once the dust had settled, the Fiendsmith Goblin Biker deck have not been able to replicate their success in other tournaments.
总结
极暗之力对OCG环境的影响有限。排名前两位的卡组雷兹尔和玛丽丝策略上得到了些许增强。
「A-Bao A Qu 无光之影」是极暗之力中另一张值得注意的卡牌，但目前缺乏强力的恶魔卡组来完全发挥其潜力。
たすく（2023年MD世界赛第3-4名，2024年MD世界赛第3-4名）与シーアーチャー（2023年MD世界赛第3-4名）及ガラム（2024年OCG/TCG世界赛第3-4名）组成全明星队伍，参加了2024年东京地区赛。他们使用的「妖匠哥布林骑士」搭配「A-Bao A Qu 无光之影」，出其不意击败对手。然而，最终「妖匠哥布林骑士」未能在其他赛事中延续成功。
