About Tony Chou
Tony Chou is a native Chinese comedian of 11 years from Beijing and the first world touring comedian from China, having performed in 10 different countries/regions in America, Europe, and Asia. Based in New York, Tony is a regular performer at The Comedy Cellar, Q.E.D, West Side Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, and EastVille Comedy Club. He has performed with comics like Ronny Chieng, Des Bishop, Wil Sylvince, Tom Rhodes, and many more. Tony’s comedy stories have been featured in media such as the New York Times, CNN, Economist, BBC, The Atlantic, Bloomberg, AP, Sinovision, CCTV, China Radio International, China Daily, Global Times, NBT-World (Thailand), and so on.
As one of those who founded and shaped the comedy scene in China, Tony has been managing 幽默小区 "The Humor Section” since 2014. Tony is also the first ever native Chinese comedian to perform stand-up comedy on international cruise ships. Many know Tony Chou as the co-host of the award-winning American style late-night show, "The Liang Huan Show" on tv.sohu.com
