1. Live Photos on Moments
iOS users can now share live photos that include both motion and sound simpy by selecting photos from your phone's gallery.
There's also an option to turn off the live effect, allowing a mix of static and live photos in the same post. Once posted, live photos will display a special "live circle" effect in Moments.
According to WeChat's response to user comments, Android users will have to wait for a future update.
2. Fast friends, or time-honoured pengyou?
The
iOS version 8.0.52 update introduces the "Add Date" option on friends'
social profile pages. However, it’s important to note that this feature
is currently in a grayscale testing phase and is available only to a
select group of Apple users.

[Contacts] > [Find your Friend] > Click [More Information] on a friend's profile to see how they were added.

to Tencent customer service, users can check their friend addition
records by navigating to [Contacts] - [New Friends], and can click [More
Information] on a friend's profile to see how they were added.
