Friendships from the Field, Fall Camp 2024
Every year, at the start of fall, Chengdu International School secondary students spend one school day on a school retreat to explore the natural world, engage in cross-cultural activities, and forge lasting friendships. It not only offers a break from the traditional classroom setting but also fosters a sense of community, independence, and a lifelong appreciation for the great outdoors.
The spirit of the Olympic Games lives on with CDIS secondary students. This year, teamwork and sportsmanship were at the core of Fall Camp. The day started with the opening ceremony and flag parade before the middle school began its games on campus.
Middle school students spent the rest of the day playing sports and learning to cook at the Sichuan Food Museum. High school set off for Tianjixian Camp, spending the entire day outdoors to compete!
Throughout the year, middle and high school students meet with their grade-level advisory groups four times a week. During these meetings, they focus on developing healthy social, emotional, physical, and professional skills, connecting with staff members who support and advocate for them as they navigate school life.
May the friendships and experiences shared during the student fall camp be a source of joy and inspiration for all students in their academic and personal endeavors.
Oct. 22: Léman International School Open Day
Come and join us for a unique opportunity to explore what we offer at Léman International School Chengdu. The Open Day will include a parent information session, a campus tour and a Q & A session with the school leadership team. We will share with you the curriculum and various programmes that our school employs.
The Open Day will be held on 22 October 2024 from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. We would like to invite families with children aged 2 to 17 years old holding foreign passports or IDs from Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan to join us in an immersive Open Day experience.
