Why football is good for your child?
It’s no surprise that sports and exercise are an integral part of a child’s development and growth, as the benefits are both physical and mental. Football is generally accepted as one of the most well-rounded sports when it comes to ticking off important boxes for physical literacy, social development, and cognitive development. A big part of Sport is that it forces decision-making in complicated or high-stress situations. It’s all about gathering and processing information in the best way possible and this comes through practice and exposure to these situations. This is especially true for football. Learning to predict outcomes and take the most efficient course of action in short amounts of time is the building of problem-solving skills that children need and can apply to all aspects of life. This, combined with the need for effective communication in football, makes it a perfect practice for a growing child who is still cultivating these skills.
In addition to all the physical benefits of football for kids, there are so many things football can help teach: ownership, resolving conflict, managing emotional responses, taking constructive criticism, respect for others, building motivation etc.
Coaching Curriculum
The programme is aimed at developing the whole child as well as the junior footballer in a structured but friendly and fun environment. In addition to building a passion for football and developing on-the-pitch skills and knowledge, the principles of teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership are emphasized throughout.
To create balanced sessions which develop the child as well as the footballer, ClubFootball coaches use the ‘4-Corner Model' as espoused by the English Football Association. This means that the course and each individual session are explicitly designed to develop the Technical & Tactical, Physical, Psychological and Social areas
ClubFootball follows the English FA's '4-Corner Model'

ClubFootball's qualified international coaches have experience in coaching youngsters at all levels, from grassroots to elite professional club academy levels in countries across the world. All are passionate about providing a developmental footballing experience and helping youngsters enjoy their football and improve their skills.
In the course, there is a translation assistant coach to ensure that players can understand the coach, and encourage players and coaches to communicate and interact more.

Occasional friendly matches will be arranged to give kids a chance to put their skills into practice.

ClubFootball weekend courses also run at ISB, Harrow, Dehong and YCIS for students of these schools only, and new weekend courses are scheduled to begin soon at BSB Sanlitun and SIBS (we hope!). To register your interest in these courses, pls contact us.
'League Teams' for Experienced Players
For players aged 6 and older who already have the basic skills and are ready for more regular team training and league matches, the ClubFootball also provides you with a higher stage: joining the League team is an undoubtedly ideal choice for these children to improve their skills and enjoy football!
Younger teams learned a range of skills to help them make their own decisions about how to overcome 1v1 and 2v1 and 2v2 situations, then put them to practice in an exciting 5v5 league on Sundays. Each player got to try every position and experienced the roles and responsibilities that come with each as they begin their footballing journey.
Our older teams continued to focus on becoming all-around creative thinkers on the pitch, by being challenged with fast-paced conditional games that encourage all players to maintain possession in small spaces, use both feet and play with an emphasis on bravery and creativity.
The team participates in the Beijing International Youth Football League (BIJFL) at a fixed time every Sunday. The league is also operated and hosted by the ClubFootball with about 100 international, local and school teams participating. Young players play in a competitive but friendly environment, while the team of Clubfootball more attention to the long-term development of each player, "playing in the right way" rather than the short-term results.
