2024年,苏州大学与美国化学会旗下 Biomacromolecules 期刊共同迎来两个重要里程碑——苏州大学材料与化学化工学部化学化工学科成立110周年与 Biomacromolecules 期刊创刊25周年。2024年10月18日,美国化学会出版部将携手苏州大学,举办 ACS Publications Forum on Biomacromolecules and Macromolecules at Soochow University,以庆祝这一双重盛事。


本次会议将聚焦前沿的大分子与生物大分子领域,致敬塑造该领域的历史性成就,并探讨引领未来研究的重要挑战。会议将线上同步直播,欢迎踊跃报名参加。

Marc Hillmyer received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Florida in 1989 and his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the California Institute of Technology in 1994. After completing a postdoctoral research position in the University of Minnesota’s Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science he joined the Chemistry faculty at Minnesota in 1997. He is currently the McKnight Presidential Endowed Chair in Chemistry and leads a research group focused on the synthesis and self-assembly of multifunctional polymers. In addition to his teaching and research responsibilities, Marc served as an associate editor for the ACS journal Macromolecules from 2008-2017 and is currently the editor-in-chief of Macromolecules. He is also the director of the Center for Sustainable Polymers headquartered at the University of Minnesota, a National Science Foundation Center for Chemical Innovation.

Sébastien Lecommandoux教授

Sébastien Lecommandoux received his Ph.D. (1996) in Physical Chemistry from the University of Bordeaux. After a postdoctoral experience at the University of Illinois (UIUC, USA) in the group of Prof. Samuel I. Stupp, he started his academic career at the Laboratoire de Chimie des Polymères Organiques as Associate Professor in 1998 and was promoted to Full Professor at Bordeaux INP in 2005. He is currently Director of the Laboratoire de Chimie des Polymères Organiques (LCPO-CNRS) and is leading the group “Polymers Self-Assembly and Life Sciences”. His research interests include the design of bio-inspired polymers for biomaterials and pharmaceutical develoment, especially based on polypeptide, proteins and polysaccharide-based block copolymers self-assembly, the design of polymersomes for drug-delivery and theranostic, as well as biomimetic approaches toward design of synthetic viruses and artificial cells. He published over 220 publications in international journal, 6 book chapters and 12 patents (3 being licenced), with over 18000 citations (h-factor 67, Google Scholar). He is also co-director of the joint laboratory LCPO-L'OREAL. Sébastien Lecommandoux is recipient of the CNRS bronze medal (2004), Institut Universitaire de France Junior Chair (IUF 2007), Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry RSC (2017), Seqens Award of the French Academy of Science (2019), Member of the Academia Europaea (2020), XingDa Lectureship Award from Peking University (2021). He has been Editor-in-Chief of Biomacromolecules (ACS) since 2020 after serving as Associate Editor since 2013. He is also in the Editorial Advisory Board of several international journals, including Bioconjugate Chemistry (ACS), Polymer Chemistry (RSC) and Biomaterials Science (RSC).

吕华 教授

Dr. Hua Lu is currently a Boya Distinguished professor of the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University. He obtained his B.Sc. from Peking University in 2006 and PH.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011. He worked as a Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation postdoctoral fellow at The Scripps Research Institute before he started independent research as an assistant professor of Peking University in 2014. He was promoted to associate professor with tenure and full professor in 2020 and 2022, respectively. His research focuses on the development of methodologies for the controlled synthesis and medical applications of polypeptides, sustainable polymers, and protein-polymer conjugates. He is a recipient NSFC Excellent Young Investigator (2017), CCS Polymer Division Young Scholar Award (2019), ACS PMSE Young Investigator (2020), NSFC Distinguished Young Investigator (2021), WuXi AppTech Scholar Award for Biological Chemistry Research (2022), and most recently, the CCS-RSC Prize for Young Chemists (2023).

严锋 教授

Prof. Feng Yan received his Ph.D. degree in polymer science at Nanjing University in 2000, and was appointed as a professor at Soochow University in 2006. He received the National Natural Science Foundation of China for Outstanding Young Scholars in 2014, he won the first prize of science and technology of Jiangsu Province in 2017 (ranking first). He was selected into the "333 project" talent plan (the first level) in 2021. He has been the chief scientist of National Key Research and Development Program of China since 2021. His research interests and activities focus on the development of functional polymers, including ionogels, hydrogels, poly(ionic liquid)s, and polyelectrolytes for the applications in artificial ionic skins, strain sensors, antimicrobials, smart windows and electrochemical energy harvesting/generations. He is currently an associate editor of “Chemical Engineering Journal” (Elsevier).

靳健 教授

苏州大学

Jian Jin is currently a Professor at Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, Soochow University, China. Her research interests are designing porous materials and membranes for ion/molecule separation, wastewater purification, gas separation, and the applications in other fields. She has published more than 200 peer-reviewed scientific publications with over 21000 citations and h-index 70. Dr. Jin is the fellow of The Royal Society of Chemistry. She was awarded "Distinguished Yong Scholar Award" from National Natural Science Foundation of China. She was honored as the Leading Innovative Talent Scholars of Young and Middle Age in the Ministry of Science and Technology of People´s Republic of China and elected as a member in the Ten Thousand-Talent Program in China. She won the Science and Technology Award of Jiangsu Province (first class) and Basic Research Achievement Award of The Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China (first class).

陈华兵 教授

Prof. Huabing Chen received his bachelor’s degree of Chemical Engineering in 2001 and then Ph. D. degree of Biopharmaceutics in 2008 at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. During 2008-2012, he worked at the Universty of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (Mentor: Prof. Jinming Gao), and University of Tokyo (Mentor: Prof. Kazunori Kataoka) as a postdoctoral researcher. He was appointed to a full professor at College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Soochow University in 2012, and now focuses on the self-assembled nanomedicine for cancer imaging and therapy. Till now, he has published more than 70 peer-reviewed papers, including Nat Commun, Adv Mater, JACS, and ACS Nano. Prof. Chen’s research has been funded by several key projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China including National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2021. Prof. Chen also serves as Guest editor for Sci Bull and Nanomaterials.

殷黎晨 教授

Lichen Yin is a Professor in the Institute of Functional Nano & Soft Materials (FUNSOM), Soochow University. His research interest is focused on the engineering of polymeric and/or bio-inspired nanomaterials that can overcome multiple physiological barriers and deliver biomacromolecular drugs such as nucleic acids, proteins, and peptides. His research works to create new technologies and therapeutics for the treatment of cancer, cardiovascular diseases, autoimmune diseases, etc. He is the recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of China.

李耀文 教授

苏州大学


Yaowen Li is a professor in the College of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Materials Science of Soochow University and serves as a PhD advisor. He gained the distinguished Young Scholars of NSF. In recent years, as a corresponding author, he has published over 100 SCI papers in high-impact journals such as Nature, Nature Materials, Nature Energy, and Nat. Communications. He holds more than 10 authorized Chinese invention patents, with 7 of them successfully transferred, and has actively collaborated with industry in integrated research and development projects. His work has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Second Prize of the Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Award (First Contributor, 2022), First Prize of the Jiangsu Provincial Higher Education Scientific Research Achievement Award (First Contributor, 2021), and the Top Ten Technological Advances in Jiangsu’s Industry Sector (First Contributor, 2023). He has been awarded various honors and funding titles, including the "NSF for Distinguished Young Scholars," the "National Excellent Young Scientists Fund," the "Jiangsu Excellent Young Scientists Fund," the "Zhongying Young Scholar Award," and the "Suzhou Outstanding Educator Award." Professor Li also holds several key academic and professional roles. He is a member of the Solar Materials Expert Committee of the Chinese Materials Research Society, a committee member of the Optoelectronic Materials and Devices Division of the Chinese Society of Optical Engineering, a youth editorial board member for Sci. China Chem., associate editor of Nano Select (a Wiley flagship journal), a featured editorial board member for Chin. J. Chem., associate director of the Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Advanced Carbon Negative Technologies, and a council member of the Suzhou Chemical and Chemical Engineering Society.

孙欢利 教授

苏州大学


Professor Huanli Sun obtained her B.S. and Ph.D degrees from Soochow University in 2008 and 2013, respectively, under the supervision of Prof. Fenghua Meng and Zhiyuan Zhong. Afterwards, she worked as a postdoctoral research fellow with Prof. Frank Caruso and Greg Qiao at The University of Melbourne, Australia. She then joined the Biomedical Polymers Laboratory at Soochow University in Sep. 2015. She was honored as a Young ChangJiang Scholar by the Ministry of Education in 2024. Her current research focuses on the development of antibody-engineered polymersomal nanomedicines and dual-drug loaded polymeric nanomedicines for targeted and synergistic tumor therapy. She has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers with a total citation of over 3,100. She serves as the associate editor of "Frontiers in Biomaterials Science" and has been an assistant for the associate editor of "Biomacromolecules" and "Journal of Controlled Release" from 2015 to 2022.

王召 教授

Zhao Wang received his B.S. degree at East China University of Science and Technology and M.S. degree in the University of Akron. In 2013, he moved to University of California, San Diego for his Ph.D. study. In 2018, Zhao joined Aaron Esser-Kahn's group as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Chicago, where he is exploring mechanically controlled polymerization and material strengthening. He joined Soochow University in 2021 as professor of polymer chemistry. He received the excellent young scholars award (overseas) from the NSFC. He was the young editorial board member of Chinese Chemical Letters. His current research focuses on the synthesis, modification and recycling of polymers by mechanochemical tools.

宣孙婷 副教授

Sunting Xuan obtained herB.S. in Chemistry from Lanzhou University in 2010. She then went to the UnitedStates and joined the graduate program in the Department of Chemistry atLouisiana State University, where she received her Ph.D. degree in PolymerChemistry in 2016. She then became a postdoc at the Lawrence Berkeley NationalLaboratory from 2017 to 2020. She is currently an associate professor ofCollege of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at SoochowUniversity. Her current research focuses on the design, synthesis andstructure-property investigation of bioinspired polymers.

材料与化学化工学部(College of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Materials Science)由苏州大学原化学化工学院和原材料工程学院的材料科学与工程学科组建而成。原化学化工学院历史悠久,源远流长,其前身是东吴大学化学系,创建于1914年。它的创始人是东吴大学第一位理科教师、美国生物学家祁天锡教授(美国范德比尔特大学毕业硕士) 和东吴大学第一位化学教师,美国化学家龚士博士(1913年来自美国范德比尔特大学)。1917年,龚士博士指导的两名研究生获得化学硕士学位,是东吴大学授予的第一批硕士学位,也是迄今为止能够确定的中国第一批化学硕士。原化学化工学院在百年的办学历程中为国家输送了许多优秀和杰出的人才。材料学科是在1975年原苏州丝绸工学院的化学纤维专业基础上发展起来的,目前已成为国内重要的材料科学研究和人才培养基地之一。


学部涵盖化学、材料科学与工程、化学工程与技术3个一级学科,拥有化学、材料科学与工程、化学工程与技术3个一级学科博士点授予权和博士后流动站。材料科学与工程为“一流学科”;化学、化学工程与技术是江苏高校优势学科建设项目。据2023年ESI最新数据,化学、材料学科列全球前1‰;最新NATURE INDEX化学学科排名全国高校第12,2022软科中国最好学科排名中化学排名16。
