香港事、说好香港故事


2024年9月13日,我校高中部公民与社会发展科到香港文化中心出席“《香港人、香港情、香港事、说好香港故事》摄影比赛”颁奖典礼。



我校学子郑同学技压群雄,获得青年专业组亚军殊荣,我校成为唯一一间荣获大奖的大湾区内地学校。

这项由香港国际文艺交流协会主办的全港摄影比赛和颁奖礼是香港学界的年度盛事,为庆祝中华人民共和国成立七十五周年,大会特别策划了这场关于「香港人·香港情·香港事·说好香港故事」的摄影比赛。参赛者须以独特的视角捕捉香港风貌的文化多元性,展现了这座城市在历史与现代之间的独特融合。参赛者每一幅作品都需要蕴含着深厚的情感与故事,反映了香港独有的社会脉动与人文气息,以及表达出香港在一国两制下的生活方式和文化特征。




本次比赛竞争激烈,有过百间香港中小学生及大批市民参与,大会合共收到超过1,500份参赛作品。


颁奖礼嘉宾阵容顶盛,包括:中联办九龙工作部宣教处吴兴龙科长、香港都会大学科技学院王富利院长、香港国际文艺交流协会吴家仪主席、香港油尖旺区议会欧楚筠议员及香港道教联合会圆玄学院第三中学赖俊荣校长等。

郑同学

很荣幸能够获得学校推荐参赛并在这次比赛中获奖。我的作品的创作灵感来源于驻港部队官兵们英姿飒爽的身影、坚定的眼神和矫健的步伐。在参观七一驻港军营队列表演时,仪仗队迈着整齐划一的步伐出场,我被这震撼的一幕吸引,于是举起相机拍下了这张相片。当天烈日当空,我在现场不一会就已汗流浃背。而他们在太阳底下站立时,要岿然不动;行进时,要步调一致,实在值得我们尊敬。


我以驻港部队官兵为主题的相片参赛,旨在展现他们的风采,弘扬爱国爱港精神。山因脊而雄,屋因梁而固,香江因忠诚卫士而安。解放军是国家主权的象征,他们的存在让我们安心,令香港这片土地得以繁荣稳定。一身戎装,穿出了世界上最正气的模样。最安稳的幸福,来自最长久的守护。繁市霓虹不忘来路,向万家灯火的守卫者致敬!


指导老师

为提升学生对国民教育(包括宪法和基本法,以及国情、国家最新发展和成就等)的关注及学习兴趣,公社组透过举办多元化活动鼓励学生学习相关课题,让学生有更丰富的学习体验。


本年度适逢中华人民共和国成立75周年,本组鼓励学生参与由香港国际文艺交流协会主办的“香港人·香港情·香港事·说好香港故事”摄影比赛,让学生能从多角度了解国家,培育国民身份认同。


在准备比赛前后,我们阅览了很多参赛作品,但相片大多局限于本地传统文化主调,郑同学突破框框,选择把七一到访驻港军营相片作为参赛作品,相片构图、色调和光影技巧饱满。值得一提,环视场内所有得奖作品,郑家作品独树一帜,以「爱国爱港」为主题,展示出国家守卫香港的决心。最后我们以大湾区与考学校身份获得大奖,ASJ学生的实力再度获得香港官方机构的认可和肯定。


本组期望举办更多爱国爱港活动,让学生在竞赛中展现出湾区好青年风采。


第十四届全港学生中国国情知识大赛


2024年9月14日,我校高中部公民与社会发展科部分学子到香港英华小学出席“第十四届全港学生中国国情知识大赛”初赛。



第十四届全港学生中国国情知识大赛在香港英华小学举行,由香港教育局、大公文汇集团主办,中华人民共和国教育部港澳台事务办公室、中华人民共和国外交部驻香港特别行政区特派员公署、中央人民政府驻香港特别行政区联络办公室教科部支持。



适逢今年是中华人民共和国成立七十五周年,这届国情知识大赛以此作为主题,旨在促进全港学生了解党史国情,学习中华优秀传统文化,珍视国家荣誉,铸牢中华民族共同体意识,培养担当民族复兴大任的时代新人。上届比赛在团体赛和个人赛共收到多达230间学校报名,参与学生逾8,100名,成为香港年度最具规模的学界盛事。



除此之外,这届大赛将加入国家安全和《基本法》第二十三条立法相关的题目,呈现经济、民生、科技、体育、军事、外交、文化等方面的发展成就,冀学生在整个比赛的过程中增强对国家方针的认识和学习国情知识的兴趣,提升香港青少年对国家的归属感和自豪感,更能在阅读、讨论、查证的过程中,培养明辨分析、理性思考的能力。



三位ASJ学子参与中学组团体赛初赛,现场气氛紧张而热烈,比赛时间为15分钟,共设有15题,涵盖选择题、填空题等题型,他们表示题目非常具有挑战性。

On September 13, 2024, the Citizenship and Social Development Department of the Secondary School of Affiliated School of ASJ went to the Hong Kong Cultural Center to attend the award ceremony of the "Hong Kong people, Hong Kong sentiments, Hong Kong affairs, telling Hong Kong stories well" Photography Competition.

ASJ student Zheng surpassed the competition and won the runner-up honor of the Young Professional Group, becoming the only one to win the grand prize of schools in the Greater Bay Area.

Hong Kong People, Hong Kong Sentiments, Hong Kong Affairs, Telling Hong Kong Stories Well

This Hong Kong-wide photography competition and awards ceremony organized by the Hong Kong International Literary and Art Exchange Association is an annual event in the Hong Kong academic community. In order to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the conference specially planned this event about "Hong Kong people, Hong Kong sentiments, Hong Kong affairs, telling Hong Kong stories well" photography competition. Contestants were asked to capture the cultural diversity of Hong Kong from a unique perspective, demonstrating the city's unique blend of history and modernity. Each of the contestants' works must contain deep emotions and stories, reflect Hong Kong's unique social pulse and cultural atmosphere, and express Hong Kong's lifestyle and cultural characteristics under one country, two systems.

The competition was fiercely competitive, with more than 100 Hong Kong primary and secondary school students and a large number of citizens participating. The conference received a total of more than 1,500 entries. 

The award ceremony featured a large lineup of guests, all of whom are well-known figures in society, including: Wu Xinglong, Section Chief of the Publicity and Education Office of the Kowloon Work Department of the Liaison Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Dean Wang Fuli of the School of Science and Technology of the Metropolitan University of Hong Kong, Wu Jiayi, Chairman of the Hong Kong International Literary and Art Exchange Association, Hong Kong Yau Tsim Mong District Council Member Au Chu-yun and Principal Lai Chun-wing of Hong Kong Taoist Federation Yuen Yuen College No. 3 Secondary School, etc.

ASJ student Cheng received the grand prize from Mr. Ko Cheuk-hin, Marketing Director of Hong Kong Life. His winning work will also be printed on the cover and inside pages of Hong Kong Life’s 2025 annual calendar.

Classmate Zheng

I am honored to be recommended by the school to participate and win the prize in this competition. The inspiration for my work comes from the heroic figures, firm eyes and vigorous steps of the officers and soldiers of the Hong Kong Garrison. When visiting the parade performance at the July 1st Military Camp in Hong Kong, the honor guard marched out in uniform steps. I was attracted by this shocking scene, so I raised my camera and took this photo. The sun was blazing that day, and I was sweating profusely after a while at the scene. When they stand under the sun, they must remain motionless. When they march, they must move in unison. This is truly worthy of our respect.

I entered the competition with photos of officers and soldiers of the Hong Kong Garrison, aiming to show their style and promote the spirit of patriotism and love for Hong Kong. Mountains are strong because of their ridges, houses are strong because of beams, and Hong Kong is safe because of loyal guards. The People's Liberation Army is a symbol of national sovereignty. Their presence gives us peace of mind and makes Hong Kong prosperous and stable. Wearing a military uniform, he looked the most upright in the world. The most stable happiness comes from the longest protection. The neon lights in city never forget where they came from and pay tribute to the guardians of thousands of lights!

In order to increase students' attention and interest in national education (including the Constitution and the Basic Law, as well as national conditions, the country's latest developments and achievements, etc.), the Citizenship and Social Development group encourages students to learn related topics by organizing diversified activities, so that students can have a richer learning experience .

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Our group encourages students to participate in the "Hong Kong people, Hong Kong sentiments, Hong Kong affairs, telling Hong Kong stories well" photography competition organized by the Hong Kong International Literary and Art Exchange Association, so that students can understand the country from multiple perspectives and foster national identity.

Before and after preparing for the competition, we read a lot of entries, but most of the photos were limited to the theme of local traditional culture. Student Zheng broke through the box and chose a photo of July 1st visit to the military camp in Hong Kong as the entry. The photo composition, tone, and light and shadow skills are abundant. It is worth mentioning that, looking at all the award-winning works at the venue, Cheng's works are unique, with the theme of "Love the Country and Love Hong Kong", showing the country's determination to defend Hong Kong. In the end, we won the grand prize as a Greater Bay Area and examination school, and the strength of ASJ students was once again recognized and affirmed by Hong Kong official organizations.

We hope to organize more patriotic and Hong Kong activities so that students can show the style of good young people in the Greater Bay Area in the competition.


The 14th Hong Kong Students Knowledge Competition on China’s National Conditions

On September 14, 2024, the Citizenship and Social Development Department of the Secondary School of ASJ went to Ying Hua Primary School in Hong Kong to attend the preliminary round of the "14th Hong Kong Students Knowledge Competition on China's National Conditions".

Sponsored by the Hong Kong Education Bureau and Ta Kung Wen Wei Group, and supported by the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Ministry of Education and Science, the 14th Hong Kong Students Knowledge Competition on China's National Conditions was held at Ying Hua Primary School in Hong Kong.

As this year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, this Hong Kong Students Knowledge Competition on China's National Conditions takes this theme as its theme. It aims to promote Hong Kong students to understand the history of the Party and the conditions of the country, learn about China's excellent traditional culture, cherish the country's honor, and build a strong sense of the Chinese nation's community, to cultivate new people of the era who will take on the responsibility of national rejuvenation. The last competition received registrations from as many as 230 schools in the team and individual competitions, with more than 8,100 students participating, making it the largest annual academic event in Hong Kong.

In addition, this competition will include topics related to national security and the legislation of Article 23 of the Basic Law, presenting development achievements in the economy, people's livelihood, science and technology, sports, military, diplomacy, culture and other aspects, hoping that students will be able to improve their overall performance throughout the entire competition. During the competition, they will enhance their understanding of national policies and their interest in learning knowledge about national conditions, enhance Hong Kong youth's sense of belonging and pride in the country, and develop their abilities of clear analysis and rational thinking in the process of reading, discussion, and verification.

Three ASJ students participated in the preliminary round of the secondary school team competition. The atmosphere was tense and lively. The competition lasted 15 minutes and included 15 questions in total, covering multiple choice questions, fill-in-the-blank questions and other types of questions. They said the questions were very challenging.

We hope that ASJ students can successfully qualify for the finals and compete with Hong Kong’s elite secondary school students for the grand prize of the competition!
